The Minneapolis City Council can override any decision made by the mayor. They were pretty close to having those votes about the time this article came out three weeks ago. This thing is getting done. It's getting done before Miami, before NYCFC, and before LAFC, for that matter.

I still don't think that's clear. I think McGuire would have been happy to keep things going at a steady pace and see where NASL ended up.

Glad MLS gets to the Land o'11,842 Lakes soon..
Now if that team in Purple can do something about that long awaited, always a bridesmaid Stooper Bowl win, I'd REALLY be pleased!

Even from far away, so glad the Vikings are not involved in this project. A way too large NFL dome + plastic = bad soccer. Smaller, outdoor, grass = good soccer. Congrats Minnesota !!!!!
