Yup -- that's where I found it (on Quincy's Facebook feed). Say what you will about QA -- the man has PR and self-promotion down!

QA seemed not quite himself tonight. No matter what he says, I don't think he's 100%.

It's called being rusty. And the guy doesn't have the greatest touch or football brain to begin with. Any drop off from the norm is quite noticeable.

Quincy can be amusing, but sometimes he reminds me of somebody who's had a bit too much Monster or Red Bull...

found some of this from the article interesting...

That master plan has nothing to do with soccer. In fact, Amarikwa isn’t much of a fan of the game at all. He’s pretty good at it — although his 22 goals and 17 assists over eight years spent with four different teams don’t tell the whole story of what he can do — but he has little interest in becoming a star.

"At least" nine months. Knowing Quincy, he'll be back by March.

    From your lips...

However, the Quakes seem to have a disturbing trend where a few weeks turns into months and years (see Lenny, Pelosi, Innocent, Goodson, Luiz, etc.)

Did anyone figure out who actually provides' the team's sports medicine treatment?
    Is it stanford or sutterhealth?

Any else see a pattern here? A Quakes forward has a relatively good year, gets a huge raise, productivity decreases, and then comes the big injury.

And we could make a much longer list of players who returned on time, 100% from injuries.

Lenny has had multiple problems with his knees, I think he had a surgery prior to even joining the Quakes.
Pelosi has 'Jumper's Knee", where surgery is a last resort. It looks like the Quakes first tried the usual, prescribed treatment, then when that obviously wasn't working, went with the surgery. And he was also previously damaged. Innocent had a severe knee injury.
Who knows what the hell is going on with Goodson's back or toe or whatever, but, there is absolutely no evidence he has had substandard treatment for any of it.
Every team in the world has injury problems with players, some are out for a long time, and some never return to their previous form. I don't know why people expect anything different with the Quakes.

Yep, and all the more reason to constantly be developing the younger / up-and-coming part of your roster, or at the very least have a broader mix of guys who get playing time. It is not enough just to keep patching it up with veteran players and bringing back your regular guys too early from injury, while players like Tommy, Silva, Colvey, and even Sarkodie rot on the bench for weeks and weeks.
