so our owner is broke, and has instructed a series of willing accomplices to lie to the fans about it.

MLS must be mafia-esque about talking out of school, or you'd expect someone to have blown the whistle on this farce. How many guys have we heard over these ten years SWEAR Hauptman gave them all the money they needed? Every one a liar, forced to sell his bond by Hauptman and, presumably, MLS. Fvcking scumbags, one and all.

No, I think over these ten years, guys have SWORN that Hauptman offered them all of the money they needed.
I don't think any of them actually said they received it.

It's MLS. You will never know. You are expected to sit and consume their pre-packaged entertainment product and never ask what it's made from.

Fvck MLS for actually allowing this to happen. They know what's going on and they don't care. Have really lost interest in the "league" he past few years.

I'm kind of with you here, I've hardly used my MLS Live subscription this year. I've mainly watched the nationally televised games, and even then far fewer than in years past. My viewing of Liga MX has increased though.

Well, you said MLS game in the past three years, which would by definition exclude Fire games, right?
Haven't we been relegated to USL by now?

The Fire "games" if you want to call them that don't count. No one really watches those.

Id rather watch the EFL than most MLS games and i usually have a pro MLS stance but it's not without hypocrisy. I simply do not watch MLS or the majority of night time sports.

In fact, when i do watch sports at night it's usually on BeIn and it's either recaps or replays.

I used to watch every Fire game in full with a six pack of beer.
Now I watch condensed highlights with a bottle of Bulleit.

I actually enjoy watching other MLS games after I declared the Fire dead (or they kicked me to the curb because I don't belong in their family). I don't have the same passion for it that I once did, but I can really enjoy a match up of two good teams, and I like watching some of the ex-Fire players around the league. I'm with you on Liga MX, however. It is a good league playing in great stadiums with good crowds. I'm not sure why I never watched it before, but got into it last year. I'm still looking for my team, although I think I have narrowed it to Monterrey, Cruz Azul and Club America (still have my Blanco man crush.)

I enjoy watching RSL play when everything clicks. It's so nice to watch and exciting.

Good call. I like watching most of the Argentine midfielders play as well. Mauro Diaz, Diego Valeri, Ignacio Piatti and now Lodeiro in Seattle. Okay, he is Uruguayan. Same thing. ;)

Giovinco is always a treat. I like watching RSL, Portland, SKC, Toronto, NYCFC and Orlando.

Liga MX's playoffs are usually spectacular. Both of last seasons (Apertura and Clausura) finals were great. The Apertura final between Monterrey and Pumas was incredible. The last three or four years I've enjoyed Toluca and Tigres the most. That French striker Gignac that Tigres has is really good. America is also fun to watch when everything is firing on all cylinders with them.

Well I still stay loyal to my team!

Portland have always been nice people and I gladly support those guys. They're the cool hipsters (FVCK SEATTLE!).

That Apertura final was amazing, and gut-wrenching for me as I started to really like Los Rayados. But, agreed. The playoffs are fantastic. Gignac is great. I also watch the French league, and while I do not like Marsaille, Gignac was awesome to watch. In March, I am going to be in Monterrey for a conference. The spring schedule is not out, but I assume that they would alternate home games so that either Monterrey or Tigres would have a home game that weekend. I will go to which ever one is there.

I am numb when it comes to the Fire. I don't find myself pulling for them to win or lose. In fact, they are currently my least favorite team to watch for a number of reasons. The last couple of games have at least shown some signs of life that suggest they could be watchable in the future. However, I am sure they will get rid of the parts that are worthwhile and replace them with crap. That is the Chicago way.
