Always a pleasure to witness a midfield componed of Matuidi, Rabiot and Stambouli. What a time to be a alive.
Marseille are a terrifying team, any coach would exercise such caution. (Ironically, I'm not even insulting Marseille, I'm just insulting Blanc)
It's going to be a long drive back to the hole they came from. And as usual, it's so nice of the cameras to keep showing their faces and Mandanda's face whenever we'd score! I always appreciate quality camera work. (I'm not a man btw, but of course I could see why you'd think I am)
A great end to a great season. Class to sub Ibra off at the 89th for the ovation. At beIN Sports they had "#Zlaturday" contest to send your best memory in to. I think my favorite was when he looked at the back of the lesser known player's shirts like 'who are you' and then that player did the same to him. Not really classic Zlatan but very funny. More good ones here:
Disgraceful. Bastia need to be punished for this. I hope they identify the idiot who threw the object at Lucas. We need a new thread for this season
So glad we now have Emery, who is giving Kurzawa the chance that he deserves. @ all the celebrations though
Could you believe how bad Cavani was Cavani-ing? I've said before he needs a sports psychologist -- now even worse than then. He has all the skills but right now could not hit the broad side of a barn ... from inside the barn. Those didn't matter in this match but there will be matches where it will cost points ... or even elimination. Every one of those high or wide misses is also a turnover unless there is a deflection and he generally doesn't need those to miss. ;>) to be clear he is a potentially great player but at present and for some time now he has been in terrible form -- side note the "Zlatan excuse" is no longer in play. Highlight for me was Verratti back on the pitch, having his contract extended longer term has no impact if he can't play -- he certainly has some rust to polish up but he was out there and playing and I just love the obvious joy he shows when he does.
Never rated Cavani or Ben Arfa Still think they can score enough between the two of them to win ligue 1. They are both going to waste chances but they will get so many it won't matter, a few will have to go in If anyone an topple PSG it will be Lyon (assuming Lacazette stays) and En Avant Guingamp whom strike me as a Leicester
It will be interesting to see how HBA adjusts to playing at PSG. At Nice they formed the team around him and he had the liberty to do whatever he wanted. At PSG he needs to be more of a squad player. Time will tell...
Looks like beIN is up to last years $#!+ with La Liga clipping the first +/- 60 minutes of the match tomorrow, rebroadcast later for the full match but I remember those getting messed up as well if anything went long or they changed anything. The 1:45 live match coverage starts at 3:10 according to the Directv guide, replay at 9:00. We still need a 'domestic' thread for this season (16/17) if no one else starts it after tomorrow I will.
Can you use bein connect online? That's what I use when the PSG game isn't on the regular bein channel. It's on bein 3 right now
