    Ayyyy-yup! Snicker.

Hey, this current crop of players have never been in a final of any kind, have they. Wow. Well, backing into a place is still getting there, if you understand me.

Hahaha now there's a visual! Damn, wish I could draw cartoons.

I'm now about to be a Canada fan for the next hour or so, not that I can see the game, and not like it's going well anyway, I hear.

I can see the game. Approaching half time, Canada have had 2 shots, 1 of which was on target. Neither side is looking much like they want to win, although Germany are in the lead. Main entertainment during game so far: commentator spreading rumours about Mittag not at all being chuffed with PSG.

EDIT: After I posted that, Canada had a "dead cert"
headed off the line by Kemme.

I'm still grateful for Sweden for doing the Lord's(I guess he does exist, eh?) on Friday. That special moment alone will help me get over Brasil's heartache from today. Sigggggggh

Thank goodness for my mental health that I'm not Brasilian.

Can one live a life in Sweden without any knowledge of Swedish whatsoever? I mean, Im thinking about moving to Sweden and become a citizen et all

No, but German-speakers practically speak the language already. No need to become a citizen if you live here long enough to get permanent residence *unless* you want to vote in parliamentary elections and/or your own stupid country of origin initiates a process ending in -exit.

Ok, Im afraid yes because saying I understood "0" would be exxagerated. Well, in the work place they do speak English only thats ok but social life must be kinda hard is my guess. and would do you mean with practically speak already? :D

Every time I think Däbritz is a chocolate teapot, she scores a goal. She's the Lisa Dahlkvist of the German team.

Well I'd really rather Dahlkvist would return to scoring in the run of play now and then. Did Däbritz?

This is weird. It's sinking in. I've been a Team Sweden fan since 1999; that's been 17 years. The final in 2003 against Germany just about broke my heart; that was 13 years ago and the team hasn't been in any final since. Huh.

This is a copy of this year's euros. The crappiest teams are in the final

The 2013 semi was the actual final for me

Well, well, well. Looks like Germany played with "heart" and not like these US cowards.

My goodness, this is like old home week!

This time, though, as opposed to 2003, I promise to not spend the rest of the day with my head in a bucket, no matter what. Not that there will be much of a "rest of the day" — it's also just now occurring to me that the final could start at midnight or 3am. Urgh.

I made margarita pitchers for that match. They help, apparently.

Like with Portugal, perhaps it is time that Sweden win something

I drank half a bottle of Absolut by myself after the game. That did NOT help.
