BTW just read that the remaining stars are practicing (light duty) with the squad now?

    Who are we still missing?

    Boateng
    Costa?
    Robben
    Badstuber?
    ???

Boateng, Costa, Robben all out injured.

Ribéry and Badstuber out with "muscular problems." But does that really surprise anyone?

We could use some depth on the wings. The season hasn't started yet and Ribéry and Robben already can't stay off of the treatment table.

We are down to 1 quality winger in Coman and the season hasn't even started,

So basically we're going to be scrambling and mixing and matching odd lineups until the season restart in January?

Water is wet at Bayern

This has literally been the Bayern experience since I first started following the team in the 90s. Maybe we need to start using PEDs like Barcelona.

I feel this is unnecessary. We don't need him back, the club was doing just fine without him. He should have stayed as head of youth and keep working in the background

Maybe this will at least mean that Kalle won´t get that much time to trash talk in the media anymore. He´s been acting on Watzke-ish levels as of the last two years.

And Uli keeps his mouth shut?

The trio have been talking trash for as long as I can remember. Their egos are massive and their all alpha types :/

According to SportBild, Lahm will overtake Sammer's old position in 2018

I have a hard time believing Lahm would want to be involved in football on a daily basis the summer after he retires. Seems like a mellow guy that would enjoy his time away from the game, at least for a little while.

Interestingly they reported on this plan once before in late 2015 or early 2016, so months before Sammer's illness and subsequent release from his contract.

    Carlo talking about Sunday:

    - We are ready. We have studied Dortmund and he wants us to play our own control game.
    - Hummels will start. Sanches will be back next week.
    - Other internationals who returned late are also ready.

I think we will see the same line-up as vs Real Madrid, with Neuer, Hummels, Ribery, Muller for Ulreich, Feldhahn, Bernat and Rafinha. Maybe Lewy too but I think he will start with Green up front and Lewy to enter the field later if needed.

Edit: by the way, there is no match thread?
