No class is an understatement.... The dude, notwithstanding his football manager's qualities, is just vile and toxic.

Jose is wildin' smh totally ruins any goodwill he has off the field. It's mindblowing why he does that when people i know/respect tell me he's a great dude. Weirdo sh*t by him at all times. Serial winner but likely a sociopath lmao

People hate Jose, but the way he comments about players is smart to me. If you're a winner you will get past it and improve, otherwise he will weed you out. He also puts a ton of spotlight on him so his teams can play. Arsene tries to do this as well.

    Umm, what?

I don't think Arsene has ever called out his own players in public. Ever.

it was two disparate statements. Notice I said he ALSO puts the spotlight on him. meaning not related to calling players out.

Agree which is why I think Pogba picked the right place, Jose will somehow get people to forget the price and allow Pogba to flourish. They gotta figure out how to get rid of Rooney though

well imo I think he will try first calling rooney out for poor performances. Strip captaincy etc. itll be interesting to see how he handles him because rooney effing sucks lol.

Rooney is the commercial face of United, there's no other white dude they can push in Asia. He has to play

Mourinho cares about one person only.

He'll throw any player under the bus if it can remove blame from himself.

Then he'll get fired within 2 years.

Pogba is replacing him as the commercial face of United.

Rooney will be in China next summer.

    Simply mind boggling...Pogba will be paid £ 1.16 M a month.....

    • Manchester United have announced the signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus for a world record £100m fee
    • Midfielder will wear the No 6 shirt at Old Trafford and earn £290,000-a-week for his five-year contract

I think Jose will use him for a season or two. He will be Lampard 2.0 for Jose. Maybe phased out eventually and then off to MLS or China.

Doubt it. With the squads structured the way they are (assuming United has Pogba done), I'd say Chelsea were the favorites. United have enough issues that they can't be considered favorites. Be interesting to see what City do. Right now I'd say Arsenal are about level with City.

Rooney is a terrible midfielder though. I hope they keep playing him there.

If we get Evans and mustafi .. I will pleased
So long as we still get a striker of good quality

Evans would be a decent back up ...not a bad player at all

Chelsea's backline is the same as last season

They are not favorites and may not make CL again this year.

Arsenal would be favorites if we had a great striker. I think City are favorites because its Pep. Arsenal are after them even though we have a better squad.

Their backline was terrible the first two months of the season, and then they played at a top four clip despite Hazard being terrible. This season is hard to predict going in: I could see Arsenal finishing anywhere between first and sixth, ditto for United and Chelsea. Hard to see City dropping below third.
