This is what I want out of a team. So happy to see this spoken out loud. I hope they follow through with it. http://www.sounderatheart.com/2016/...-probably-signed-his-sounders-contract-by-now This is also my suspicion about how Sigi coached, also how Klinsman coaches. They rely on players figuring everything out rather than coaching into them what patterns of play to look for.
Well then Lagerway is like Sigi, because Sigi has made numerous statements throwing his team under the bus even lately. And when he was coaching one of the US youth teams years ago (I always forget which), he threw numerous guys under that same bus. It was the reason that I was always puzzled when people opined that it was a good idea to get him back coaching for one of the national teams.
Decide to pop back in after a year or so away and find that Mr. Warmth is still going strong. Life is good.
Duck and cover, cause this article drops bombs. http://www.soccerwire.com/blog-post...hind-the-scenes-of-sigi-schmids-seattle-exit/

Hopefully half the roster can take the same bus out of town with Sigi. Whoever in the organization thought it was a good idea to bring Friberg back should be immediately fired as well.
suggesting the coaching abilities of sigi and JK are in the same ball park is a joke. Sigi has forgotten more then JK knows.
Friberg didn't leave the team cause he was terrible he left cause to raise a family. He actually was good when he last played for us.
I can't link on this device but there's a report out about how a lot of this comes down to Dempsey, who supposedly refuses to speak to Sigi or do anything he says and in order to try and save the season one of them had to go. And Sigi was easier to unload.
Given we had 7 1/2 years of sigi. It was time for him to go regardless what dempsey said or not and rather we have him or not. Dempsey has 1 year left on his contract with Seattle. I rather have that veteran experience teaching the young players than sigi imo. I didn't think sigi could handle players that have large egos.
