The MLS All-Star game is never about winning the game. I wish they would return to the East-West format. I wonder how much they pay Arsenal, Chelsea, etc to participate.
My tickets sold last night, and this was my first StubHub sale too. It is weird seeing the buyer's name and address on the shipping label, especially when the buyer's last name is the same as one of the players named to the team last night (and it's not a very common last name).
I can't attend and I just tried selling my tickets, but no site seems to accept them. Have you found a place? Does anyone want two tickets in section 112 for face value? Happy to sell them to a fan direct
I would say use Craigslist. Just make sure you write in the description that the tickets are mobile only. And that the buyer has to trust that you are an honest person that will be selling a valid entry in exchange for a PayPal payment. I have transferred mobile tickets to friends in this way before. All you need to do is take a full screenshot from your phone of the ticket(s), then email these images to the buyer after they pay. Then at the event, the buyer just brings up these images on their phone and they scan the QR code from the screen. I did this for Copa Centenario, and my friends had no issues.
Why should anyone trust me to be honest?!? But my interest in the game has waned, and with Wenger sending the C squad, I'm wondering if Arsenal fans care either. I'll check out Craigslist but it's got such a bad rep as a haven for scammers, I'm not optimistic.
I did eventually receive funds in my PayPal account (even though I asked for a check). So all in all the process worked Which player?
Just for fun. I don't think Dom or anyone would take this game seriously. However, if Dom has to play his brand of soccer (defense first, empty bucket, wing play, target forward, physical over skillful, hold the shape and less fluid), how will his All-Star Starting XI look? 2016 MLS All-Star Game Roster: GOALKEEPERS: David Bingham (San Jose), *Andre Blake (Philadelphia). DEFENDERS: *Matt Besler (Sporting KC), Steve Birnbaum (D.C. United), *Laurent Ciman (Montreal), Andrew Farrell (New England), Liam Ridgewell (Portland), *Keegan Rosenberry (Philadelphia), Brandon Vincent (Chicago), Kendall Waston (Vancouver) MIDFIELDERS: Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Mauro Diaz (FC Dallas), *Giovani dos Santos (LA Galaxy), Jermaine Jones (Colorado), *Kaka (Orlando City), Sacha Kljestan (NY Red Bulls), *Darlington Nagbe (Portland), *Andrea Pirlo (New York City), Wil Trapp (Columbus). FORWARDS: Clint Dempsey (Seattle), *Didier Drogba (Montreal), *Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC), Cyle Larin (Orlando City), Ignacio Piatti (Montreal), *David Villa (New York City), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose). *Fan XI pick.
Dom is going to get destroyed by Arsenal. Only hope is they play a bunch of U-19 kids or the whole team gets wasted the night before partying.
You didn't read the article? Arsene Wenger is resting all the stars who played in Euros, plus Alexi Sanchez is still hurt from copa. That being said, if the Arsenal no names beat the all stars, maybe The Don would stop this whole charade.
So you would shamelessly profit on the backs of a poor, starving player's family!!? Great, no shoes for Emersyn this year. Hope you're happy. :--)
Before the start of the match both managers will agree not to high pressure so as to keep everyone healthy. Then I hope Kineer is smart enough to tell his guys to high pressure until the second half. If he is smart there is a good chance the all stars can get a lead at the half. There in no such thing as a friendly game even if it does not mean anything.
I stopped by the Quakes team store today during my lunch break to pick up a 2016 all-star game scarf for the Soccer Legacy Collection at History San Jose. Below are items already in the museum collection from the previous 2001 all-star game held at Spartan Stadium in San Jose (on display within the City of Champions: 2001, a San Jose Soccer Odyssey exhibit at San Jose City Hall in 2011-2012).

I must have missed this, but I just got tickets to the Homegrown game in the mail today. Totally did not know that was included with my tickets, now that may change my travel plans down there.
There was an option to add tickets to the Homegrown game for $10 (IIRC) through Ticketmaster during the presales, at least. Later, an $10 option for STH when the Homegrown game went on sale separately. Maybe Quiet Type took advantage of the $10 add on when he bought ASG tickets. One of the staffers told me that STH's who renewed before July 10th get free tickets to the open training on Tuesday. No email notification to that effect yet from the club.
Not that I know of, I just got tickets through the lottery, and purchased them through Ticketmaster. Would have noticed if I had bought additional tickets to the Homegrown game, maybe they are just giving them away having not sold many? I'm not complaining.
