I had ordered "Mobile" tickets thinking I would be able to get PDFs. Only got the QR codes. So I online-chatted with TM support two days ago and requested printed tickets. TM just sent me the "Here come your tickets" email.
with QR code tickets, just do screenshots of your screen, and send them to people via text or email it works.
Tickets finally showed up today. Anyone thinking they might have a nice commemorative ticket (as other sports sometimes do) is going to be disappointed. Blah TM stock. The Quakes also sent out renewals for 2017, early renewals get an All-Star related bonus: If you renew your season tickets by July 10 you will be eligible to receive a 2016 Early Bird MLS All-Star Lanyard and Pass! The pass will give you access to different surprises during All-Star Week at the events listed below. July 22 Quakes vs. RSL Viewing party July 25 Concert at Plaza de Cesar Chavez July 26 Men in Blazers Live Show July 26 All-Star Team Training at Avaya Stadium July 27 Chipotle Homegrown Game (must have a ticket to match to redeem) July 28 All Star Game (must have a ticket to match to redeem)
as mentioned above, when the printing of the tickets took so long I assumed (mistake on my part) that they were printing up some a nice commemorative ticket. was very anticlimactic opening the envelope and seeing the actual ticket....but i'm sure mls is hoping we all run out and buy the all star jersey
I received them the same day as you all and just shipped them off to their new stubhub owners. Couple of observations on StubHub (my first time using it for selling or buying): 1) They have you ship directly to the buyer. How does StubHub know I included the tickets and they were delivered to the buyer? 2) This is weird because I now have their address (one Seattle fan bought 2 and one Revs fan bought 2). And I don't trust this system and assume the people are trying to defraud me so I looked them up on the web. They seem legit or they've got great backstories (Sounders and Revs fans) More to come on this... I just assume I'm going to be out the tickets and the stubhub fee :\
It'll be fine. I prefer to deal in pdf files when I sell tix, but never had an issue when I've sent or received hard tix.
So apparently I had "mobile" tickets. I was trying to figure out how to list them and I chatted with Ticketmaster. The chat person told me that the event was "mobile only" and there was no other way to transfer the tickets. (They said I could give my TM acct login to someone else so they could use the tickets!) They said it was a venue restriction to prevent resale. I called their customer service and they went ahead and set up my tickets to be printed and mailed to me. (Even the phone guy said PDFs were not available though. Weird!) I am alone here or did others get the same message about mobile tickets and no PDFs?
today glanced at what some people who are selling their tickets are asking for them....if people are paying that some big time gouging going on.....maybe gouging is to harsh a word....regardless some people (if they get their asking price) are making a good profit.

i've written this before elsewhere, but i had "mobile tickets" only for the Copa America match and waas able to sell them. explain this to the buyer, and after they pay, send them an email with full screenshots from your phone's screen showing the tickets. when they show up, they bring the photos up on their phones' gallery, and they walk in with no problem. i did this with two friends and they had no issues.
Hey Everyone, I may be in town the week of the All-Star game. If anyone has a single ticket they want to unload at a reasonable price, let me know. I promise not to sit next to you and root for Galaxy players Turc
