Doesn't matter what we think. If Morata keeps scoring like this in the next games then it won't be too long till Flo has an orgasm and brings him back.
Krychowiak and Kante have both been impressive this summer and I would love one of them to wear our shirt. Krychowiak has been fantastic in La Liga for the last 2 seasons while Kante is really proving his worth and is younger. I admit, I'm not completely impressed with Morata over the course of his 2 years at Juve but I would like him here. He is young, Spanish and does make it a point to shine in big moments. I don't know any other player that would be a better backup/contender for a starting spot. Lewa, Auba etc are unrealistic. There's Gabriel Jesus but I think we filled out non eu quota. Lastly, we need to address that LB spot. Our CB is covered with Diego Llorente coming back and for me, he is a player you all should look out for. I don't know if he is too raw but, maybe Wendell? I think he is performing in the olympics so we should see more of him there.
Says Madrid is including towards keeping Morata. ZZ will take the final decision. http://as.com/futbol/2016/06/18/primera/1466211705_536492.html
Morata has incredible potential, but people still can't see it. It will bite us back in the ass if we don't get him back, I am sure.
I think we're gonna invoke the buyback clause anyway. Should be done between July 1-15 and doesn't look like Pogba saga will end before that with Juve's exorbitant asking price. Get back Morata and rotate him and Benz like 2011-12 season. We're used to having such a young team, but many key players will be in their 30s in a year or two. Benz will turn 31 in Dec 2018. A top striker at that point would at least cost 100 ME the way market is going. We can have one of the best young strikers at 10 ME and he's a youth product as well.
^^ *inclining ABC: Morata returns to stay http://www.abc.es/real-madrid/abci-real-madrid-morata-vuelve-para-quedarse-201606160835_noticia.html Cope: Club will invoke the buyout, not for profit, but to keep him. Proposed the idea to ZZ as they want 4 players for front three spots with Jese going out on loan. http://www.defensacentral.com/tertu...to-el-plan-del-real-madrid-sobre-los-fichajes
I have been saying this many times. Morata is a rare bred in the modern game. He might not be the starter, but he is the type of striker that would be useful for any team. His game was about the "low post"(basketball) and the battle of trenches(in American football). Please look at the way he bullies the centerbacks with his size. He drew other defenders to him. And "You can't coach height."
I really wish we would just settle this Morata saga once and for all. It's been dragging on for so long now.
So....what exactly is wrong with buying back Morata and keeping him? Too talented to play backup? Idgaf. Why buy him back to sell him for scraps? Some people were so eager to buy him back to sell him to BPL team for chump change and then would turn around in the same breath and demand a backup striker! Keep Morata and call it a day.
I like Morata a lot. Funny that when i said that he's the future 9 for Spain some people laughed and giggled. Morata is legit. He's not going to win any personal awards any time soon, but he doesn't need to.
No, we overpaid for James, while a great player and talent, he isn't worth 80M euros. Neither is Suarez, Griezmann, Dybala (lol btw). Only Messi, Ronaldo are in that category with Neymar and Bale being around there. I like James, but that price tag was ridiculous.
At least he was famous at the point that we bought him. Most people can't even spell Griezmann's or Dybala's name right and he's supposed to cost more than Kun Aguero ever will.
Tielemans is only good on career mode,he's been injured or awful. Suarez is easily worth 80 M,he's the best striker and scored the most goals. Dybala is the shiniest talent along with Neymar. 19 goals and 9 assists in 2465 of Serie A action and a great dribbler. I really hate that view that some of the guys like you have. If somebody is willing to pay 80 M for you then you are worth 80 M. The market isn't based on your own view where only a few players are worth 80 M. It's supply and demand, simple market. Stop living in the past, now even mediocre players can go for 40 M. It's only logical that with more money flowing from EPL TV rights etc that the prices will go up.I'm pretty sure that RM and EPL teams would be happy to get Griezmann or Dybala for 80M.
for keeping Morata. foolish decision to let him go. we need another good striker and Morata is good striker. stupid idea to think one of the top 3-4 strikers will come here when Benzy already here. i can't find a reason why whe should let Morata go, not a single reason. Heard someone is saying let him go and.. sign some veteran striker? yeah.. Hope Zizou will keep Morata.
Well if you are sure, then its legit! Problem of Morata in Madrid will be Ronaldo, i am sure. Besides, is Morata the quality solution that Madrid needs asap?
