Kaka was probably going to see more minutes than Ganso will, which is why I said we were lucky in the first place. Now we can give Ganso a few minutes against Haiti to familiarize himself with the NT setup again instead of wasting our time with Kaka, who's washed up and was only called to appease the Orlando locals.

My point was reflective on the type of header, was more the fact he is showing willingness to move into other positions on the pitch. His movement is much better now & he is finding more dangerous positions in the field......for a couple of years, he played like a statue.

It took him long enough to realize that. I wonder how long it takes him to realize the quality in the MLS doesn't allow for a player like Kaka to be in good enough form to contribute to a top NT. Even Italy realizes this and left Giovinco off their squad in what is arguably their worst generation. We should be doing this to China as well. The quality is not there yet.

1 tournament down and let's see if the CBF is stupid enough to let him stay on so he can botch the second one.

Considering that they've shown that they have no plan B, it's very likely. I'm actually scared of what the plan B could be.

Even though, Micale needs more experience I feel, I let him take over the U-23 as the head coach.

The senior team is something else if Tite refuses.

If Dunga stays then Brazil will not qualify for 2018.

    Tite has refused.

Cuca, levir culpi, sampoali or leonardo.

    Micale should remain u23 coach.

    Leonardo is awful.

Sampaoli is going to coach Sevilla.

If Tite isn't available, I would say to put your pride in check and go for a foreigner but all the good ones aren't available.

Good! If we don't qualify that saves us from another embarrassing 7-1 in a World Cup

I'm not sure what's so difficult about implementing a philosophy where if you get called up, are given chances, and you don't perform for us, then you stop getting calls in favor of other players who have shown they deserve a chance and are playing well for their clubs. It creates competition and doesn't allow players to become relaxed. We still have a handful of players who haven't received a single call, despite playing well for their club side for a season or more.

I would also add if you are not playing competitive futbol you shouldn't get called either. If a player wants to play on the NT, it unacceptable for you to play in a league below Brasileirao level. We should not be accepting players plying their trade in Eastern European clubs and Asia.

I doubt that Dunga wil be released at this moment. We are right around the corner of the Olympics.
Tite, I doubt because Coringao will not release Tite.
It is really up in the air now.

After the Olympics would be more likely.

I've been out of touch with the Olympic team. Guys, if Dunga is sacked and Rogério Micale is given full command of the Olympic team, will this be a positive development?

Even if Dunga continues, I hope that he is at least released from his Olympic duties. He will only be a hindrance to that team and Micale who proved himself already.

Yes. As of now, anything with Dunga( esp his mediocre team selections and reluctance to make subs) will only be a negative for the team.

It's funny because during the 2000s I remember thinking that we were probably going to pay for all the good fortune we had from 94 on.
