WARNING: Other results from Group 6 revealed below!

The situation is looking very bleak for Austria. If you wanna advance, you've simply got to win matches like Poland at home and Northern Ireland away.

With Poland earning away wins at Austria and Wales this week, it's going to be very difficult for the Austrians to capture one of the top two spots in the group. Gotta believe the odds for England and Poland are very good.

Manninger can't play for two months. But I think in Austria we have better keepers than Manninger. F.e. Schranz from GAK or Macho from SK Rapid Vienna are better. Alex didn't play good the last two games. I think he made 2 big mistakes in the last two games (1 against Poland and one against Northern Ireland).

How can I forget Mandl? The reserve keeper of FC Basel, who played so good against Germany. I hope that was his last game for Austria.

    @ SwissGCZ
Do you know why Basel bought Mandl? Do they think he is better than Zuberbühler?

Our authorities (mainly Christian Gross and Gigi Oeri) obviously think we have way too much money in our hands.. they bought Mandl as a reserve keeper, mainly to push Zuberbühler it seems. But hey, we can afford it I guess, let's just raise the ticket prizes a little bit and it's all good again

One day it will all strike back at us...
