Two interesting stories about a current player and some transfers.

Although I would be really excited about signing Morata (I know it's just bullshit rumors right now but let me dream for a sec m8) I'm also equally worried about the inflated price tag and the fact he's not guaranteed to bag us 20 goals a prem season. He had like 7 last season but had to fight for time with Dybala, etc.

I wonder if that means Kos turned them down?

Being benched in favor of Dybala isn't a bad thing. Dybala is that good. IMHO best young SA striker longside Neymar.

    As for Kos, interesting.

Read that he's going to be the captain next season.

Fekir? That would be a good move, he's a Mahrez type the team needs to balance the right side

I didn't watch a lot of Juventus never said I did but in the games I saw Dybala played and not Morata so I stand corrected.

No way that's happening. We only get big names from big clubs if the big clubs want to release them

According to Griezmann agent, he is "listening to different clubs..". I would love to have him at AFC but if I had to bet, It will on Griezmann going to PSG.

"Antoine Griezmann has not made a decision on his future – agent

Speaking to L’Équipe, Antoine Griezmann’s football adviser Eric Olhats has revealed that contrary to popular belief that the French international has agreed to sign a contract extension with Atletico Madrid, no decision has been made on his future.
Olhats had the following to say:
“Contrary to certain claims announcing that Antoine at Atletico next season will be the case without fail, nothing has been decided or endorsed. We are currently listening to different clubs who also offer real interest and attraction.”

The world is his oyster. He's a top ten in the world player now and will look for an opportunity to get paid like that.

Indeed...If he is not joining us, I hope he goes to PSG and not to any of our rivals in the PL.

With Xhaka confirmed, here's a quote from the Guardian:

“I like the style of football in the Premier League. It’s aggressive and I like the way Arsenal play football. It’s not like other countries. In Germany you can play aggressively but the referee will always blow his whistle, but in England that’s not the case. "

Doesn't sound like he will have to much trouble adapting to the premier league.

My biggest issue with Morata is the lack of production. If you buy him you are buying on potential. 50+m GDP (assuming that number is true) is alot to pay for potential. For a little more money we could invoke Higuain's release clause. For that or less we could snag Cavani, Benzema or Lacazette. All would have more proven production. If we are gonna go the potential route, I'd rather go after Icardi or Batshuayi who we could likely get for half the price.
