Unbelievable! Caught me by suprise, and I didn't catch the first few seconds, but Channel 11 had coverage of the Burn on their 6 o'clock newscast, explaining the significance of tomorrow's game. Had some clips from practice, and a very short clip of JK talking about the history of the Burn at the CB and importance of the game. Too bad they cut him off abruptly, but it was more than I have ever seen from any other local station. Kudos to Ch. 11!

I did that very thing just after the 6 o'clock broadcast. Now, if we could only get Kristine Kahanek as one of our 'soccer girls'.....
Kudos to Mark Janko, new PR guru, in getting channel 11 out to cover! He was well connected with the DFW media with the Stars and he is surely going to help the Burn. Good move!
Slightly tangential to this topic, but: MLSnet says the game is on Direct Kick, but my listings don't show that it is. Anyone have the straight scoop?
Totally! I <3 Kristine. Ch11 is repeating their 10pm newscast right now, as a heads up for any of you late nighters. It's been on a few minutes, but they haven't gotten to the sports yet (or the weather, haha) Glad the team is getting some airtime! I am really excited about this game...
Man, I long for the days when the Burn used to get coverage and reports from all four stations for important games like this one. Hopefully Frisco gets us back where we used to be in terms of TV news coverage.
I saw Jonno and MP cheering at the game on fox late news after i got home from the game it was a very short clip though
