Which begs the question, why was Thursday the original date? Never made sense to me. This decision is basically a wait for Welbeck scan results delay
I've been advocating the diamond for years If u check my post history I recomend ed it before 2006 even to accommodate carrick Instead we played variety of 4 4 2 and a shit 4 3 3
The formation itself isn't the key, but rather the blend and balance of personnel. I like the idea of a diamond now because we have: - Good central forwards - fast, athletic full backs - lack of obvious quality in wing forward roles - a strong candidate (alli) to play at the tip of the diamond Think I would only play a diamond however when starting with Sturridge. Of the course the fact we are playing a CB who struggles to hold a defensive line is a rather large problem whatever the blend and shape around him.
Didnt Leicester play 442 ? it can be effective if you organise it right. But every single formation has to be organised right and Woy never seems to do that .
Danny Welbeck has had surgery to his right knee. Full recovery will take approx nine months: https://t.co/mAtgUiEYOH pic.twitter.com/QYM79Q8qOZ— Arsenal (@Arsenal) May 11, 2016 Horrible news Another very lengthy spell out.
He was ? Had issues early on in the first team when he had a growth spurt with Injuries but had more short niggles than anything in the last few years. At Arsenal he's turned into a complete crock. That's what 3 long term injuries already ? Seems to pick a fair few knee issues which is worrying.
Shaw had a minor operation three weeks ago to remove a screw & has been training with #MUFC's U21s since last Tuesday— Simon Peach (@SimonPeach) May 11, 2016 I understand Shaw has yet to be involved in contact sessions &, after a short post-season break, plans to return to training in early June— Simon Peach (@SimonPeach) May 11, 2016
I find comments on Roy a bit harsh. Thought he did well in the qualifiers , had the balls to play Wilshere DM, which changed our game, and wasn't afraid to play Henderson right back vs Slovenia away to play Lallana 10. Our game has improved overall
Hopefully Gibbs is out of question. Can't find any arguments in the favour of taking him to the Euros, and not Bertrand and Rose.
Found this: http://it.eurosport.com/calcio/la-l...ti-del-calcio-mondiale_sto5002037/story.shtml Ranks Alli as the #1 best young player in the world. Players under 21. 94. James Ward Prowse 87. Stones 86. Sterling - boy he's gone way down since he's been at City 79. Shaw 72. Patrick Roberts 39. Ibe 32. Joe Gomez 21. Dier 17. Dan Crowely Obviously some sketchy names in their. So maybe not so realiable, but it's hard to argue who had a better and more productive season than Alli in that list. A little odd to not see Grealish in their based on their criteria, but atm he doesn't deserve a mention in their anyway.
