I think we've learned, we can't rely on others.

We're going to finish behind Arsenal aren't we?

Spurs really do find new ways to trip up in the home stretch.

No intensity. Couldn't break down the Soton wall. A very AVB performance as pook said.

That season Crouchy scored the winner at City was the last time I remember finishing a season feeling happy.

No bench strength. Not a coincidence that as the first XI has faltered down the stretch (which is not surprising given both the physical and mental intensity Pochettino's style demands), the only player coming on strong is the one player of real quality who hasn't been involved heavily - Son.

Arsene, LvG and Mourinho have certainly given Poch a strong challenge for Spurs' manager of the year.

there's this feeling ... where what would be rage is reduced by utter impotence to merely an empty dissatisfaction. you want to be pissed off, but you just can't summon it. what's the point?

I felt it after losing to West Ham at the end of '06. it was there when Bayern lost to a vastly inferior Chelsea in 2012. It's just a gutless draw at Newcastle away.

COME ON CITEH! put a fookin' shift in!

woo hoo! 2nd place is just a gutless draw at Newcastle away!

friggin' infuriating that a mere draw today would've been job done - and we weren't up to it.

We've clinched automatic group stage with a 1-2 win over Southampton!

Given how Spurs have played Newcastle the last few years a gutless draw sounds a monumental accomplishment. Can't believe how depressing this season became and how fast

Poor effort, but not totally unexpected following the Chelsea match.

Better hope Sunderland relegates Newcastle with a win on Wed because it won't bode well for us if they're still battling to escape on last day. Poch better have this team motivated to thrash them regardless.

No way. The best thing that could happen is if Newcastle are still alive on Sunday. In that case, they will have to open up and attack us because they need all three points.

If they have nothing to play for except pride then guess what? They'll sit back. We do better when the other team gives us space in their final third.

This game highlights where the team needs to improve to be competitive for Champions League and League Championship next year. Have to get a quality backup to Kane who could come in when behind to help get a goal. Need a quality backup for Dembele and at least one other quality midfielder also. Mason, Bentileb, Carroll not good enough to compete with quality teams.
