We are lacking something in attack. I think Ronaldo is sorely missed this match. His presence at least, takes much attention away from the likes of Benzema and Bale. But with him out, guys like Benzema are being easily dealt with. The aerial aspect of his game is being missed too as every time a cross goes in, no one looks like getting a head on it. Bale made a nice cross early on that Ronaldo would at least cause problems for the City defense. We're too passive.

We are doing alright. We are mainly the protagonists and they are looking for counters. Benzema had a difficult chance which he skied, a couple of good positions which we couldn't make chances from. It's not just sloppiness from us. City are defending very well, and in numbers too, which means that it will be a tough game. I'm ok with that.
I think Benz is easily being dealt with because he's not really doing much of anything. Bale has been bad but at least he's trying. I would put in another player for Benz, because he looks far from match ready judging by the 1st half.

I would bring on an Isco or James. They are cutting out too many passes in midfield, and we don't have a proper outlet which is leading to these Ramos Pepe brainfarts. Bring in an extra midfielder and take off Lucas or Benzema.
Yeah I can, people project his early years here over his entire career. He's been very clean since the Getafe incident. I think he anticipated a cross as well, I just don't know why you wouldn't stay on your feet and block it or force him to the corner/out. Anyway, what's done is done, needs to be careful in the second half.
