Matthäus Sammer has "minute circulatory disorder in the brain".

Now we know why he went to Bayern.

TT has stated Bummels will be captain for the rest of the season. Watzke said he will play in the final. I hope the fans are so negative tomorrow the realize that we can't do that

I hate out ********ing spineless management, they make me sick. You think Mourinho of Sir Alex would keep Hummels as captain if they were in the same position? Hell no. You think Bayern with Sammer and KHR would be happy if Lahm pulled this same shit out of nowhere wanting to go to Madrid? This is why this shit keeps happening every godamn year, Watzke perpetuates a loser mentality in the team with his second place is good enough and that behavior such as Hummels is ok and goes unpunished. All this does is encourage players in the future to keep doing this shit. Instead of trying to do things to solve the problem of Bayerns dominance, Watzke just throws in the towel and says you cant do anything just like you can change the color of the sun. We were at the time in 2012 ahead of Atletico and Juve but thanks to their smart managment and our incompetence, they are getting stronger each year and we are stuck in the same place we were 4 years ago.

I wish there was some way to fire Watzke becuase i know for a fact most fans do not agree with the way he is running the club right now. Its almost like hes a double agent working for Bayern trying do everything he can to stagnate our progress. He has no balls to take risks or invest some extra cash now that we are debt free. This is the same asshole who took out a CL insurance policy on us expecting us to fail instead of investing that 30 mil on a quality signing or two. Tuchel seems like a pushover personality as well but at least he has other redeeming qualities. Watzke is just a complete joke and embarrassing us as a club with his poor leadership and stupid interviews. Only thing he cares about is not sporting accomplishments but making money so he can pay dividends to stock holders so he can keep his job. This isn't a ********ing money generating ATM, its a ********ing football club! Its judged not by how much money it makes or how many shirts it sells but how many trophies it wins. Hummels and Gundogan must have finally had enough of this shit as well.

We dont need Hummels to win Pokal, we can still beat Bayern without him. He should be sitting in the stands for the game, in the Bayern fan section.

I was honestly trying to be positive and move past this Hummels situation but Watzke has just pissed me off again to post Liverpool mode. How can you be positive about the future with this clown. I hope to god Zorc and Tuchel can get all the funds they need for the summer from this assclown grandpa.

We should start putting clauses in contracts that say you cannot transfer to Bayern

I'm totally for this but I think it would be very challenging to implement. It's difficult enough for Barcelona and Madrid to implement.

mediocre? With maybe the most points we ever got in a league season? And the cup final in hand?
When Watzke took over in 2005 we had a net turnover of 75 millions, now it's about 250.
Bayern is at 520 mio. How fast do you think we can close this gap against a club whose reputation is high up since the 70s?
I'm a Borusse since they relegated into Bundesliga in 1976. I never would have dared to dream of a situation like ours now. We are doing great with the money disadvantage we have. And Watzke is a great part of that.

Please tell me one top 20 club which hasn't improved financially compared to 1976?

Do you think Bayern, Madrid, United, Barça, Atletico etc. compare themselves to their history or to the current competition?

Football is not the same it used to be. It's more commercial and money driven. The players, fans, market and competition have all moved forward while Watzke hasn't and we are getting pillaged because of it.

In 1976 BVB was not even a top 100 club:)
Most of them are a strong brand since the 70s, we are since the mid 90s. Therefore Bayern gets double the money from companies like Audi and Allianz as we do.
Watzke more than trippled our net turnover in just 10 years.

I don't care to know that far into our history. Even if I did it wouldn't change my mind about how I feel about Watzke. In that context do you think Manchester City fans care or are happy with their current situation? No. They want more. And I want something similar for my club.

Watzke didn't magically multiply our revenues or accomplish it by his incredible managerial skills. He did so because he got lucky with a coach like Jurgen Klopp, a remarkable scouting team and because of the commercialization of the sport. And despite that our goal should be complete against the present and not the past.

Bayern didn't become a big brand by excellent managerial skills either. There were plenty of scandals and cheating going on.

I wouldn't be so harsh. Hummels would be quite welcome to suit up for BVB II in the Regionalliga West for the remaining matches.

I agree with you.... but I'm thinking that perhaps Watzke and crew want to force Hummels to face the music. Don't let him quietly walk out the back door..... but rather make him face his teammates and the fans.

Personally.... I would leave him on the bench, but that's just me.

He faces his teammates in training daily. Unless you want to be very evil about it, start him and take him out after 5mins

Start pairing Ginter and Sokratis in defence and getting them used to one another for next season

The old timers like Watzke:) Hello, it is 21st century here, and Dortmund losing 3rd and 4th star player in 3 years. Miki could be the 5th. Add Auba and possibly Reus as 6th and 7th.
