I meant if we lose la liga despite winning all of the games we have left.

It still is a European side that has reached the quarterfinals. Most of all, the pressure on him before this game was ridiculously high. It felt as a do-or-die for him.

Be interesting to see the rotation for this weekend. We have an early game Saturday, and Atleti and Barca don't play til Sunday. Really nice chance to put pressure on both and make them think about it.

Small teams from minnow leagues. Wolfsburg have done well to reach this far topping a group that had United and PSV. Atletico barely made it past PSV. Wolfsburg are a pretty good team with players that have European experience. Their league form have been deceptive like Chelsea 2012. Not as good, but still pretty handful. I'd say they are similar to Porto and Milan whom Bayern and Barca beat after losing first leg.

As for Zidane, we played pretty good in Camp Nou and then followed it by one of the worst performances against Wolfsburg. Today team came out with great attitude and didn't panic. He's still learning, but signs are good. Danilo shouldn't start in a big game as long as Carva and Nacho are fit.

Barca lost against #9 of the Primera Division last weekend, Real Sociedad is also not funded by Volkswagen millions by the way.

I expected this though, we had to hear about how they "outplayed" Real Madrid for a week, and as soon as we paste them, they are back to being a sh*t team.

Can you read? Where did I say they are a shit team? You really need to stop with your words in mouth of people thingy. People praise Zidane here because we won 3-0 of Wolfsburg which is stupid. If we beat Sociedad 3-0 or Malaga its nothing special either.

It was not just the opponent and the result, it was the pressure and the occasion. The balance is clearly different in an elimination game when dictated by the result from the first leg. Zidane managed to energize his team and grind out the result. He did pretty much exactly what he should have done to redeem from the first match. Maybe he will never be the greatest coach ever, but he is good enough to lead this team. I trust him and I want him to stay here for years regardless of titles won. He gives spirit to the players and the fans like no other can.

You are not reading well. Is for everything he has done since he arrived, specially how he turned things around from where we were under Rafa.

In that context, sure it was nothing special. If this was a league match vs. Wolfsburg, or if this was the first leg of this tie or if we had won or tied the first leg of the tie away, this match would hold no significance. But it's the circumstances in which the came under. Down 2 and with every away goal they score you have to score 2 to keep pace. They had confidence and time on their side, and they came with the strategy of parking the bus and protecting the lead. So with that in mind, this wasn't an ordinary 3-0 win.

We did put ourselves in this situation, but you have to suffer in the CL to win. 2 years ago we were on the brink of elimination at Dortmund and were saved by the post. We went on to win it all.

Can't believe I'm seeing people play down the win from yesterday.

Sure, you could say we shouldn't have been there in the first place but in ten years of watching this team I've seen sporadic fits of Madridisimo.

Yesterday was the best example of it. The fickle fans were gone, the effort was there to justify backing of the crowd which all culminated in a successful comeback.

Strategy or not, Zidane is keeping the team hungry and asking them to run through walls. Funny thing is, they're actually doing it.

Zidane deserves praise for yesterday, on a night when PSG went out in part bc of poor tactics and squad selection Zidane got it right. It's true we created the mess by being so poor in Germany but he did a wonderful job of cleaning it up, our chance for silverware really could and arguably should have been over last night.

He also fired up the team. Last year, we were trailing 2-1 after the first leg. The team lacked intensity on the second leg. Last night, Ronaldo, Ramos, Marcelo, Kroos, Dani and Modric were playing with a lot of intensity.

Champions League trophy is looking like a real possibility right now. We could have never pulled this off if Rafa was the manager.

Imagine if we win both the CL and league?

I think the cards are there for us to do so. Barcelona, just like us last season, peaked too early. They are derailing. We've had a super easy CL so far and we could make it all the way to the final without playing a great team. Hope we get City. Looks like fate is smiling on us. We can limp to a title, we can do it!

Thread title should be "Bienvenu" and not "Bienvenue"; drop the "e" as it makes it feminine.

I think we really needed Barca to beat Atletico yesterday to win the league. With nothing else to focus on except the league, I just don't see them dropping 5 points against this schedule: vs. Valencia, @ Deportivo, vs. Sporting Gijon, @ Real Betis, vs. Espanyol, @ Granada.

However, if we win the Champions League again, who cares? I'll be a thrilled little puppy as I'm sure everyone else here will too. I'm love, love, loving Zidane right now. Honestly, I don't know who I'd take him over in Europe except for Pep.

i would be happy with CL. league is still quite far, Barca need to drop more and more, and we need to win it all. a lot of to do at this point, CL should be priority.

CL has always been priority. Zidane isn't going to say that though because so long as there is a small chance of the double, we'll be going for both. We have enough depth to go for both as well.

It is crazy that despite all that has happened with the club this season and how incredible Barcelona were for a large part of the season, if we play our cards right, the team could end winning the double.

No way ZZ is gone even if we don't win anything.

He'll still look like the guy who cleaned up Rafa's mess to bring us a point within La Liga and to the semis/finals of CL.
