It sounds like he has some sort of a guaranteed contract that they can't release him even if they want to.
I guess that was Lenny I saw 15min in to the game while I was walking around the open end, heading down to my seats in 127...
It certainly appears that Steven isn't as on bad terms with the San Jose Earthquakes (and vice versa) as previously feared. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I don't think that was Steven. I think that was the ghost of Steven Lenhart, restlessly haunting the stadium he never played in...
They sometimes have regular cans and even bags of the really high end dry stuff... (I do Adopt a highway clean up with San Jose Elks Lodge 522 on 87 between Capitol and Branham and some "service" who clears out these homeless camps (no idea who does it) but they just dump it on the side of the freeway. I filled three trash bags before running out, from the pile near the Branham overpass on the southbound side and there was a veritable dog pantry of stuff wrapped up in the "deposit").
I was missing some punctuation... The lodge on Alma adopted a stretch of 87 and 85 for clean up. Generally one does not get to go out and pick up the trash on the highway without some kind of arrangement with CalTrans and the city I recon, so I thought I'd include the fact that I was doing it with the Elks. My better half is an Elk.
I use to go to that Elks club every day during the summer months as a youth for swimming. I had so much fun in those days!
Colin Etnire@ColinEtnire This is the Lenhart update you've been waiting for: He's on IR for the season, at which point his contract is up. #quakes74 career over
It was a colossal mistake to sign the contract. And then they made matters worse by not simply making him play. He's not injured. He has a degenerative condition. He'd play with pain but he can play. They make him play and he doesn't like the pain, he retires and it's over.
