I don't know if I mentioned this already (I have a feeling I have) but my theory is that Nike are producing more colours but in a much smaller volume. So when older colours DO go on sale they lose less money but as you said sell out very quickly in popular sizes.

Nike Free Hypervenom - I picked these up from my local Nike outlet for £17.50 (£25.00) :

    nike-free-hypervenom-2-wolf-1-03.jpg

Mine are a sample pair that's probably why they were in the outlet - but they look exactly the same as the ones on sale and are one of the most comfy shoes I own. Probably one of the best deals I've got from the outlet too.

For what it's worth, Vapor X's are great. IMO, one of the best (if not the best) Vapors. Might be worth a shot as they'll be discounted with all the new colours/releases.

Anyone with the vapor X tech craft find that water seeps in a bit too easily?
I love the fit and feel but my feet are always wet after playing on semi-wet surfaces after rain

I've been having a weird problem happen with my Vapor Xs recently. Every time I play and I'm on my toes a lot I got a lot of arch pain/cramping. Anyone know what this might be due to? I also noticed this happening when I was doing calf raises in the gym with my Lunar Gato II's.

    Yup!

It's okay, I always forget to charge it so I never use the smart functions but when I do remember it's pretty cool! Have probably only gotten to use it 10-15 times. Even when not charged it is still a pretty great ball.

hoping somewhere here can give me some decent advice,

im a fairly casual footballer with a limited knowledge of football boots, playing 5/6-aside once a week on astroturf. ive been using nike bomba finales for the past 15-18 months but thinking its about time for a change.

after a quick look about, i gather that bombas arent made anymore! i loved this boot, thought it was the most comfy football boot id ever owned on any surface. growing up id pretty much always used some version of the adidas predators apart from a couple of flirtations with nike (total 90s i think!).

has anyone any good advice on what turf boot i should choose to opt for? comfort is the main concern for me and something thats a logical successor to the nike bombas, willing to consider options outside of the nike/adidas monopoly of the boot market!

replied that in the astro boot section.

on a separate note, in probably the biggest LOL moment for me in awhile and Josh's best acting for abit, SR4U discusses the Hpervenoms returning to the old uppers.

keep a look out for the top left hand corner though ^^

Also, seems like the Camo Pack for the NikeFootballX line features the TiempoX

Hey all! Do you think I could get a successful voucher claim for a crack in the carbon fiber soleplate on my Superfly. There's also quite a bit of seperation going on at the toe. I'm a bit gutted as these have been my favorite pair of boots in a while. Love the balckout colorway. Anyway, i'd appreciate your input before I decide to send them in! 12988187_10201614125191029_1172292398_n.jpg 12966086_10201614124991024_923348591_n.jpg

Most likely yes, but are you playing on turf with those? If there's any evidence you've played on turf, they'll probably deny you. Good luck.

So I have to vent to some fellow boot enthusiasts after my disappointing weekend ...

This past Friday my local shop finally got a pair of the legend 6s in. So after work I ran to the shop and tried them on with great excitement. So I finally get them on my feet and man does it suck. Despite my better judgement I purchased them in hopes I can deal with the pain long enough to stretch them out.

Needless to say after wearing them around my house for most of the day I returned them. Why do I need to vent; because the tiempo line has been a shoe that I have loved for so long. Easily one of my favorites and one of the few boot lines that I wore in my competitive years that is still around today. Now I've never been a HUGE Nike soccer fan but the tiempo was always something special to me that they had in their soccer line up.

To me personally, the problem is so obvious, too. It's the "no tongue/welded tongue design they have implemented on all their top models. It just takes away an element of customization of how the show fits. And to me it seems out of place on the tiempo. I could rant on longer on this but it seems pointless. I think I feel better now though haha

Sorry to hear that man - gotta say I feel completely the opposite. Do you happen to have wide feet? Mine are quite narrow and the Legend 6 fits me like a dream even out of the box. No issues and I've worn mine for quite a while now.

I wear them and I went up half a size. The upper doesn't give very much at all - I wore a 6 in the Magista and Superfly. I think they are great boots. Even though a lot of people on here aren't huge fans.

Yeah I would say I have a slightly wider foot so that doesn't help. Trust me when I say I was very sad to take them back. The kangaroo leather on them is beautiful. And I'm sure it would have stretched out, but that would have been a painful process for a boot that cost $230 after tax. Maybe if I find them cheap I'll give it another try, but for at that price it was too much of a risk to wear them, not have them ever become comfortable, then never wear them.

I like how Nike made out that the Camo Pack was an app exclusive and then all of a sudden PDS have in stock.

Did you take into account that they run small? I wore size 10 (EU44) in all tiempos up to IV, and in V and VI i needed to go up to 10.5 (EU44.5). That may be the reason why they hurt your feet.

I actually did try on a half size up from what I usually wear but they felt too long and we're still tight width wise. honestly I find all of nikes boots to be too tight on foot with the exception of the hypervenom. I may give the legend another go if I find them for cheap because I was seriously impressed with the leather quality. But at full price it wasn't worth the risk of having an unwearable shoe, to me at least

I have a wide foot and I don't even bother looking at Asian made Nike models because the fit is just too tight for me. Dr Boots introduced me to the world of Italian/Bosnian made Nikes with his posts and I have never looked back. The fit in the toe box is much roomier, and the overall quality is much higher. Imo, an Italian/Bosnian made Nike boot is the real top model, and the Asian make just a take-down.

2 other things: I also sometimes play without insoles to give me more space, and you should take a hard look at the Morelia 2 Mij.

It's funny you mention the made in Italy/Bosnia models because I too have noticed the difference in quality and fit. Unfortunately the ones I got were made in Vietnam.

I might check out the Morelia mij. Wish some local shops stocked them though

I go look at boots on ebay pretty much everyday to see if there's anything interesting. It's pretty much an addiction at this point, but I'm very picky so I don't spend that much at least :) If you post your size and I spot some Bosnian(Haven't seen the Legend VI made in Italy yet) Legends in your size, I can shoot you a link.
