You mean he's not a world class player deserving of an indisputable starting spot?

What's sadder is, the depth at CM RIGHT NOW basically guarantees Matuidi a starting spot on the team. Marco Verratti and Javier Pastore will never fully recover in time for another CL game.. if it's not one thing, it's the other with these two, especially Pastore.

Luiz has been a joke in defense so far today and Ibra has apparently switched cleats with Cavani today.. horrific finishing.

I find it hard for this team to beat one of Barce or Bayern in the Semis (if we make it that far)

Take Matuidi out immediately and bring on Lucas. Di Maria can drop down to the midfield.

Blanc better not wait until the last 15 minutes to take him out

This isn't to say the others are playing well btw

I bet Stambouli comes on before Lucas does.

Haha yep, the French press is desperate to make it seem like a French player is indispensable to our team so they hype him up beyond belief. Sorry but he has the technique of a blind hippopotamus and yet he thinks he's on the same level of the players around him

...I'm ready to win in Manchester. It's not PSG unless PSG gets it done away from home.

Yep well this is not like a freak situation. We knew this would happen, Blanc knew this would happen and he still thought he would be a good bench option. If Stambouli plays and doesn't play well, it's on Blanc. We all knew his level when we signed him

Crap result. There's no reason PSG can't come away with a result in Manchester, but they're making this harder than it needs to be.

The silver lining is that City looked like crap too.

That's the worst part! They weren't even impressive yet we managed to screw ourselves over. It's really infuriating

It was a scrappy draw that felt like a pretty bad loss and actually was a minor one (loss) due to away goals. So many coulda-woulda-shouldas that might have made it about 5 or 6 to 1 or 2 if the soccer gods had smiled instead of flipping PSG off.
