A few months ago I thought Mitroglou would only stay until the end of the season as he was not scoring enough, however he is in a rich vein of form and scoring about a goal a game now. Seems he has got his Greek league form now in Liga NOS. Wonder how much he will cost 10M Euros ?

apart from "External influences", they are only winning because of their relentless attack

SCP has the better keeper, defense, and midfield, but relying too much in slimani was a big weakness. maybe if we didn't sell Montero we would still be in first? maybe he would have come on and helped contribute a goal vs Guimaraes or Benfica last time?

but if you have top strikers you win this league, and Benfica has two 20+ goal scorers now.

I hope BDC / JJ make investments in our offence for next season.

He's rumored to be €7 million. Anything under 10M is a bonus.

Seriously, thinking of that deal where we sent Montero away, we got rid of a guy who knew the system and scored important goals for us for a guy that has had ZERO impact. I would think that, between the time Montero got sold and now, that he would have scored atleast ONE goal for us, whereas Barcos has done nothing. Haven't seen enough of the guy, but if his total goal tally ends up being zero for the end of the season...

And all we had to do was pay 500k more for Mitroglou and SLB swooped on him. Just like Cervi.

Hopefully SCP keeps believing until the end...

but o colinho e tao grande...

I am hoping Bayern crushes Benfica so they go into depression and slip up down the stretch...

We already did Sporting a massive favour by slapping benfica around twice. Up to you guys to stop the "rumo ao 35" crap now.

True that. I take back what I said. I'd much rather see Porto win the league

I'm pretty sure Sporting will beat Porto since well, we can't even beat Tondela.

Porto needs to get a solid coach, clean out the garbage rounding out their roster, and get a solid defender or two.

    Brahimi-Aboubaker- Corona/Andre Andre
    Herrera-Ruben Neves-Danilo

    is decent

Layun-Indi are ok pieces at the back.

Need a CB and someone younger to replace maxi

A better coach is always great but we have won the league with crappy coaches before. We have too many
"$30 Million" prospects on the team. Every player is bought for the sole purpose of selling for a massive amount. We are just missing players with garra and who know what it means to represent Porto.

IMO PDC lost his way in the last few years and he is way too old to have this type of job now. Also, he has won everything and now, there is millions at stake and everyone wants a piece of the pie. PDC simply can't manage all the different powerful cliques in the Porto boardroom. Time to retire old man.

Relax with your conspiracy. SCP has had horrible presidents, coaches and players over all these years. No one to blame but themselves. BDC seems to finally sign a good coach and decent players hence, you guys are doing well. Coincidence?

true but Sporting was always Porto's enemy, their goal was to monopolize football with SLB.

    anyways
