The Fire has burned itself out... Revs 2, Naperville 0... and to cap off the match...Razov steps on Heaps for a red card.
Razov leaves the rest of league with a demo of the true Fire sportsmanship. Even Beasly threw in a few really cheap shots. Good riddance to bad trash.
On and off the field!!!!! I keep trying to tell people that what goes around comes around. Oh well, history is on our side. C-bus rep!!!!!
OOOOOps! I see a piece of trash dropped out on the way to the street. Would you get that for me, EGGY?
If there is one thing I'm not to keen about, is that the Revs are playing now to be in the MLS Cup in their own stadium... Of course, Greg should fire up the boys by saying we got tossed from playing in our own final last year, so we should be the spoilers this year. I think we need to go with the same strategy we used against the Quakes, and beat them in 2 games. If we can win their, and then win at home, it would be the best scenario. However, that might be putting the cart before the horse. Let's break down a couple things. The Revs are red hot, and have been shutting other teams down (problem #1). We have played like ass against the Revs this year (problem #2), even when they were not playing very well (problem #3). The boys better be ready for this one, cuz its going to be a tough road ahead. Of course, either semifinal match up would have been tough. I haven't been able to watch the last few games, but if the boys keep playing well, especially late, I think our odds are pretty good. I like the fact that Garcia is really coming to life in the playoffs, and Cunningham is doing a good job of distributing for the goals. Let's get some hardware boys!
well, the first two games were in the beginning of the year, if im not mistaken, when we were ************. and 3 of the games presthus was in goal, was he not? also, the road loss (4-1, i think?) was right before we turned it around... make of it what you will...
Also, we didn't want to win the game the last time they were in town. Both teams were content to tie -- and that's exactly what happened. We can beat this team on the road, and we can beat them at home. Ahhh, it feels good to know that DC and Shitcago both went home empty handed.
u like your chances, but i like the revs chances better. theyre on a streak, and they have home field advantage for the entire playoffs. I havent seen any crew games recently, but against SJ they pulled it off. should be a very interesting series. im sticking with the revs and say 6-3 or 5-2.
I heard a seven is in the making. Whew...he has a death wish. Killed him with the Nats. Brucce is too serious about attitude for him...he's a gonner.
