Anybody else see this England squad getting far in France 2016 and Russia 2018? They are playing surprisingly well, and are without Sterling and Rooney.

But do they play at the same pace?

That's probably why they are playing well. They are playing like a team in which everyone puts in their shift without the expectations of being the one who has to be a difference maker like the two players you mentioned.

Agreed. I have to say, this is the best I've seen England play since Germany 2006.

Fabian to start? I like this, he's played well with Eintracht, now let's see if he can provide his quality for the NT again like he did as a U23 player in 2012.

It is absolutely the best league in the world. The magic of Tijuana on a Friday night. Maaaaaagical.

    Bendita Liga MX

I'd still rather watch Motherwell vs. Aberdeen than Pumas, America or Chibas

Well the biggest result of today so far has been the Philippines defeating North Korea 3-2 eliminating them. North Korea needed to win to get one of the best second spots. Meanwhile China did its job defeating Qatar to qualify to the next round.

Personally, I think Conte is overrated and don't see him doing much for Chelsea next season. What's the deal with Mario?

Conte is a stubborn terrible tactician. He thinks that what works in serie A will work at an international level, and he's finding out the hard way that he is not capable of coaching a national team like Italy. I don't see him doing much at Chelsea either, would be funny to see him get the team relegated lol

Patiño is clearly the class of this Azkals team, he participated in all 3 goals.

Isn't that how they always start off? They play well, hype up a new guy as the player thats going to make a difference and then they crash out and you have all the ex England players that didnt do jack shit either talking about change....wash rinse repeat.
