Honestly if they don't get called up for the Olympic Qualifying games vs Colombia then they don't have a chance at all unless a miracle happens. 2017 Gold Cup is probably the best chance that El Salvador has of recruiting them along with Oscar Sorto and Eriq Zavaleta.

I understand why AA wouldn't want to come back he is 30 and focusing on his career he has gone through a lot BS with Fesfut over the years, It's not stupid decision considering that he is trying to secure his financial future.

You have to have a more defensive midfielder next to Ceren. I'd slide Rodrigo Rivera there and take out Jr Burgos. Maybe Jose Alvarado? (though i thinkk he plays higher up the field, im not 100% sure). Also, why not have Benji? He's been pretty damn good in the league. Arroyo has only played one game. If not, just go with Contreras. He's been sturdy for us.
Chino flores also has to be on the bench for us. Come in for Pineda and push Punyed out wide

Benji deserves a call-up especially in absent of Luis Contreras who has been injured and Henry Hernandez who has been in horrible form.
defintley Josue Flores has done everything asked of him, he has been playing regular minutes and has eben extremely consistent defintley warrants a callup.
hopefully the next coach can eliminate the one striker formation we have..it doesn't work for us especally since we don't have a striker like that (except for Zelaya, I mean pre-banned Zelaya not the current Rodolfo Zelaya)

I honestly don't like the 1 striker formation, but i feel we definitely need 5 man midfield. Clogging up the midfield is what has always worked best for us. Sadly, leaving the one man up there is what i think needs to be done. It's just about finishing the opportunities we create (Bonilla vs Chile, Rugamas vs Panama, Larin vs Guate.) Just having that clinical finisher would bump up soccer for ES so much.

But doesn't he have a choice anyway, if Primi still calls him up?

Definitely not complaining about possibly playing both Peru and Armenia. I'm sick to death of ES always organising friendlies against our CA neighbours.

    Ugh.

We should have never agreed to those friendlies in the first place. A brand new squad of young and inexperienced players going up against world class teams, what did you think was going to happen?

Man, I'm so sick and tired of ES vs Guate friendlies. For some reason ES always struggles against Guatemala anyway, it's painful to watch.

In the now 9 years since I joined BS so much changed in the world and our football remains a mess. NT may be slightly better talent wise than in March of 2007 but at least back then the excuse and hope was things were trending up with DLC only 6 months into the job. I joined looking for info for the then upcoming friendly match vs Honduras in Miami that year and today just wondering if there is any chance we will still be alive in April after facing the same damn rival who still has our number all these years later. At least the forum grew. When I joined I remember it was all jumbled together in Centralamerica with Just EC, KevinR9, BKR and Feno holding it down here. Who knows what the deal will be and how much will change in the years to come but for our sake (those left who still care) hope our football is one that will change for the better.

Dude, for us when it comes to soccer, there's no greater certainty than a win against el salvador, a loss against costa rica, and an elimination from a Caribbean team :'(

He does. But he's already saying no BECAUSE of Primi. So there ya go

I think they've taken a great step with Lara as the youth NT coach. Him doing the scouting in the US now and later on during the summer will help find players for the future of ES. Sadly, this NT has torn us apart and played with out hearts. It sucks. But I still hope one day I'll get to see ES play in a WC. And I'll be there if they ever do lol (as a fan)

Meanwhile Nicaragua defeated panama 1-0 in a friendly, in just one year their costa rican coach has progressed them so much, all i can say with the right set up and national coach we can rebuild this fractured shell and progress quite rapidly especially if we take step now for 2022 campaign.

The thing is considering how they went with Primi in the first place can we really trust them to pick the best possible choice instead of the scraps available just because they are cheap.

I'm surprised none of the central american countries have tried to pry him away from Nicaragua. I'd welcome him surely, as Honduran DT.
