Well, I think I found something to lift my soccer spirits today.

The 2016 Fantasy soccer is now open for creating your team.

I'm in. Unless someone wants to beat me to it, I'll set up a head-to-head league this evening.

Okay, I created a head-to-head league. It's called BiSoRevo, and the code to join is
4095-1160. There are only 20 spots, so join early!

Biggest change this year is roster size drops from 18 to 16. Good news is salary cap is the same ($120M), so no need for that $4M bench warmer who never plays.

Now that preseason is done, and the regular season looms, it's time to get in gear with your fantasy team. Last time I checked, our head-to-head league (code above) only had four participants. Now, while that might make it gratifyingly easy to win, I think on balance it might be more fun with more people. So don't be shy!

No! Don't bother! Don't sign up, because you have no chance to win. I'm going to win this division, running away. Don't waste your time!

It's approaching the 89th minute here to get your fantasy team in, and the referee is looking at his watch. (Metaphorically, of course -- you actually have till 1:00 PM today.) As of last night, we had nine in the league, and it would be great to have a few more.

So I'm too late to join by a few hours?

Heads up, fantasy players. Six games this Wednesday, so they decided to make that a "week" unto itself, with 8 teams on bye.

Week 19 begins Friday at 11pm with a full slate of games.

Congratulations to BOTW, winner of the BiSoRevo division with a 28-6 record (84 pts), clinching with a win on the final game of the year to hang on to their lead over 2nd place WashingtonRedskinsFC (27-7, 81 pts).

Thanks to @abecedarian for creating the league.
