The $60 seats in the BMW area are two accessible seats in the corner. The seats in my regular section (BC26) are just not available. Seems like we should get first dibs on our own seats? It's ok, $70/seat is about what this game is worth to me and I kind of like being in the end zone, especially as there will not be the usual battle of the bands.
Sections 106 and 111 are for some reason not available, but there are still front row seats in 101, only $155/pop, astonished no one has grabbed those. Also, 116 in row 11 for $70 -- much closer than I got, and I was on that the moment it went live.
Managed to get row 1 or 112 just like my season tickets, just slightly different seats. Only four times the price of my normal seats. . .
will be interesting to see how many people (non-quake fans) end up at LOBINA during this game compared to a regular season home game.
I'm wondering whether free-for-all standing at LOBINA will be permitted. I would not be surprised if MLS sells standing slots and refuses to allow others to loiter there, especially if MLS believes standing in the supporters terrace is worth $250 per ticket.
I ended up with tickets in 109 (same section as my season tickets), lower down (row 5 instead of 11) for $155/ticket (really $165/ticket with the ticketbastard fees). Not clear yet if I will use these for my family or resell them. Depends on which MLS players get picked for the ASG - I don't really want to see Kaka and Gerrard old it up out there.
Eh, I completely forgot the Euros are going on around the same time. Likely going to see most of Arsenals C/B- team. Possibly sanchez as well, but outside of that, it'll be more like Arsenals reserve squad :/.
Euro Final July 10th. MLS All-Star game July 28th. 18 day difference for any Arse player in the final. Looking at the roster my guess is that a majority will be done prior to that.
They screwed up the prices on the BMW Club Seats and the Supporters Terrace. I believe it's been corrected now. Although many of us in the Supporters terrace had to buy elsewhere when we logged in as we weren't paying 250 bucks.
While I'm sure, they are holding back some tickets...I was looking on Ticketmaster this morning and there are only about 1500 seats left. I think a lot of the 2nd wave of season ticketholders are going to be left out in the Silver Lot.
I asked a bunch of questions about this match in the customer service office last Saturday. MLS takes loads of tickets for its sponsors, VIP's, Arsenal, etc., which leaves only approximately 12,000 tickets for everybody else. I expect an immediate sell out tomorrow morning, especially since scalping has become completely normalized and acceptable through services like StubHub. Are the days of getting hassled by the cops outside the stadium for trying to sell extra tickets, even at cost, over now that the team and league encourage scalping through their resale platforms?
Of course they encourage scalping because they collect fees twice! Every time those tickets change hands they get more money.
Grabbed 4 $155 tickets in 109. Already see a pair up on StubHub for $450/ea. If those sell, i'm doing some seeeerious thinking.
Just snagged four in 126... and one ticket for myself for the Homegrown Game just in case I decide to go, it was only $10.
would like to know how many tickets are available for general public? after the season ticket holder resale, and the number of tickets scooped up by mls for corporate clients, VIP's and the like, can't be very many left for the average fan to purchase.
Not going to count the green dots, but looks like less than 1000. Maybe 700-800? Wish we had map access on the first day of the pre-sale.
I HATE IT when that feature is turned off, although I understand why. When it's high volume time, I think the system just can't keep up and there would be conflicts and disappearing seats that would be a bad user experience. It's frustrating to know there are likely better seats that you would choose, but you can't get to them.
