Didn't look to me like anyone touched her on the replay, but my stream quality isn't great.

28' 0-0 Canada counter with inside-out chip to LB Chapman sneaking behind. Chapman cross floats back to 14m center, headed away. 2nd serve to 9m 1/3 right, Solo outjumps a head and catches high.

29' 0-0 Lloyd jumps straight up facing away for a high header, Buchanan outjumps her from behind and shoulders her in the back. Foul.

30' 0-0 USA fk at 28m mid-left, Brian bends it to 8m left post for Johnston, just over her head and 2 defenders head away. Behind the play, Morgan momentarily down, gets up with a leg stinger.

32' 0-0 Johnston backpass to Solo at box top arc right. Solo clangs it to 22m :D

I dont think Canada can maintain this pace for much longer. We're seeing a lot more of the ball but still too many long passes. Get the short game going and they'll fall

33' 0-0 Prince holds at circle top right touch. Backpass, one-touch chip through box top right -- a boom-or-bust idea. Johnston cedes a throw-in, clears into near touch -- but off Wilkinson and over endline.

35' 0-0 Pugh turn-and-go at 25m box left, through box top mid-left to 15m. Youthful indecision, neither shot nor pass -- Wilkinson overtakes and pokes ball away. O'Hara(?) serve from 22m wide right to left post head-high, Labbé punches it across and over?

36' 0-0 USA left ck, to box top center -- Sauerbrunn jumps alone, nods a weak header down to 14m

LOL, Lloyd tells the ref to watch the replay after Tancredi scissors her down in the box.

Labbé isn't doing much to make me happy to have her on the Spirit roster. #adventuresingoalkeeping

38' 0-0 USA fast ground pass to 6-top right for Pugh running free -- Labbé dives out to close angle, Pugh taps endline and hops her, chases and right outstep backpass to Heath at 12m wide right. Quick cross to 9m 1/3 left, Lloyd clangs it off 2, spins away, lunges to it -- ball poked past Morgan wrong-footed, rolls to near touch.

39' 0-0 Brian cross, Klingenberg 2nd cross, rattles off 2 at 8m 1/3 right -- pops high to Lloyd(?), quick left roundhouse shot wide right, but deflected for a ck.

40' 0-0 USA right ck, drops to Heath backshielding 2 at 7m 1/3 left, header down to nobody at 8m center. Lloyd pounces to ball as Tancredi swings right roundhouse falling back and misses -- Lloyd runs into Tancredi's extended right leg, spins both down. Ref calls -- foul on Lloyd :ROFLMAO::sick:

42' 0-0 Buchanan slides to clear at own 10m wide right, Lloyd chases hard and jumps across to win a throw-in. Cleared back to Sauerbrunn.

44' 0-0 Midfield ping, mostly USA. Heath taps to O'Hara overlapping up right touch. O'Hara bends inside Lawrence at arc top wide right, slides to deliver a low cross -- just as Lawrence micro(?)-bumps her from behind. O'Hara stays face-down for ~10s, resumes.

45+1' (of +0'10") 0-0 USA ping at midfield. One ping only -- HT. Time flies when you're typing :coffee:

Being a spirit fan is rough. Both are players got blamed for the poor showing against Mexico. Even though the whole team sucked.

Ok... Jill needs to do something, this isn't working. The offense breaks down time and time again due to bad passes. Most are coming from Horan, Brian or Lloyd. None of that three is having a good passing game. Morgan is double of triple teamed and has mostly been ineffective.

Get Dunn of Press on the field at half. This is Canada... not Germany or France or Japan we're playing

US is playing way too much long-ball. Yes Canada is playing a very physical game.. to the surprise of no one. US should've been prepared for this and are letting the non-calls get in their heads

After she came out for the first Lloyd header this was the first thing that came to my mind and I'm not even a Spirit fan. On the bright side I think Wys is good.

Keep in mind that extra time may be needed. That would be a classic! I think we are getting frustrated and going for the route one approach rather than working the ball around. I think Brian is having a good game. Johnston is not. I think it is so good for us to finally get a strong opponent. Canada reminds us that speed of play can be increased.

I think we are taking the right approach, notwithstanding some bad passes. If we keep moving the ball on the ground left to right to left, we will run them ragged.

True. I will like them to continue with the game plan even if we don't score or even lose the game. Just for the sake of god, cut out the unforced errors

If I was Solo, I would damn the red card and take out her legs and flip her head over teakettle next time Tancredi charged me. 'Course only after we go up by a goal.

Disappointed with the passing ability of defenders on both teams today. When under a little bit of pressure they panic and boot the ball up the field rather than calmly playing out the back.
