It's been a while since I've seen the league badge over the stripes. The current Adidas templates aren't very good unfortunately.
Here's a closer look at the same template for Montreal... Should have gone with the Inter Milan style black and blue stripes. Much better looking.
Yea, I agree with the Milan style too. Classier. http://www.footyheadlines.com/2015/09/adidas-2016-17-teamwear-kits.html Here's the full set of teamwear. Campeon and Registra are the only one's I like out of the bunch, and even those aren't great IMO. The striped one is cool, but most teams would have to lose the stripes, which is doable.
Something isn't right here. I thought the rule in MLS is that all kits must be either red, redder or reddish. Didn't they get the memo?
Quakes jersey sponsorship reportedly in the neighborhood of the top 5 in the league, meaning $3.8-$4 million a year.
I wish there was some more creativity in the jersey's. Would love to see some fresh ideas instead of the standard solid color with Adidas stripes.
New year...new threads! Lookin' sharp #Quakes74 🔥👍 https://t.co/V6RU86Ebl8— San Jose Earthquakes (@SJEarthquakes) January 28, 2016
A couple of teasers of the new Whitecaps secondary kit... Apparently we'll be playing as the Quakes on the road. Though this may be a leak of what is coming. If so, pretty nice.
Beyond sick (if real). The Union usually have a pretty set design structure that they work with for the home jersey (of which they are due a new one). I'm hoping they can get through this bad template cycle without doing something dopey..
I read a tweet a few weeks back that the Union home jersey was pretty boring. I'd imagine closer to Chicago's new home jersey as far as simple details added to the broad center stripe.
So, maybe the Impact are messing with us or leaked a practice jersey. Here's a pic from the jersey launch in two weeks: Someone played with Photoshop to get a better look and...
Looks like the exact same template as RSL, faux collar and all, with blue and black vertical stripes.
