Yes...Klinsmann formally announced his plans to tro

Tchani has been under the radar, but the first time I saw him this year I could tell that he had developed physically and that his play had exceeded the level of the average MLS player.

He may not be as good as Fellaini, but he contributes similar things to the field. He's a physically dominant player with good feet, good awareness, and vision.

With a little exposure, I think he'll be gone to England. He's the kind of guy that physical English teams love to have in the middle.

Maybe he'll return to Bolton. Have you seen where they are in the Championship table? Its been down for this team ever since that original injury.

    * only kidding about rejoining Bolton.

So Jurgen refuses to bring in Benny or Sacha for training (two of the best midfielders in MLS), but instead is happy to extend a training-only invite to a guy who will likely never play professional soccer ever again? I just don't get it.

If you want to bring in a real locker room presence, bring in Landon. (Which we all know would never happen.) Stuart - I love the guy and his energy, but he doesn't belong in the same room as the rest of this team. If you're bringing him as a potential assistant coach, I would be okay with that. But as player - just no need for that kind of thing.

This would be like if Bob Bradley brought John O'Brien to train with the national team in 2009 - three years after he retired. And O'Brien was way better than Holden.

Yeah, but if Benny or Sacha requested it, the answer would be a firm "nein".

So is that what this has become - the annual Stuart Holden-rehab camp? Or is it a real national team training camp?

Do we see Italy inviting Rossi to national team camp just for "rehab" purposes? Nope.

I've never not seen Klinsann bring a distraction into an event. I've never seen it not succeed. He's good. Very underrated intelligence.

Because it turns our national team into a joke. Stuart is an amazing man and individual - but he has zero chance of ever playing for the national team ever again.

There are only two options here. If Stuart is completely healthy, he should be training/trialing with other professional teams in Scotland, England (League One/Championship), or MLS/NASL.

If he is not healthy, then he shouldn't be at a national team camp. (I have no problem with him using the weight-room at the Carson Center, but if he's doing drills with the rest of team, he is likely slowing everyone down.)

Too many double negatives - do you mean bringing distractions ends up as a success?

For Klinsi, yeah. The biggest discussion point on these boards (by clicks, replies, posts, etc.) in the run-up to Brazil was the inclusion of Green. When it was over there was no Green, just Donovan, but by then it was over.

Including Holden makes the inclusion of Jones not look so silly.

Closed practice. Hard to catch much of what's going on from across the street where security makes you stand. The women's staff are here observing practice.

Mostly small sides games where Andi has a group and 'Jeurgi' has a group. They swap the Def/Mid Group from mini field to mini field work a fwd/mid Group.

Is Kreis visible or doing anything?

Can't you get a drone or something for a better view? It is 2016, dammit.

Forgot about Kreis being here. Did not see Stu involved in any small sided activities.

I can't post a pic from the app. I'll do it later.

Why are people upset Holden is training with the team that has a lot of U-23 players. His wife is pregnant and there are not many teams locally who are training. He can't play in any games.

    Not everything is so serious.

Ok... Something tells me that SOMETHING is going on here behind the scenes. This is all so very un-Klinsmann-like.
