PointStreak NOW says 638. One match, three different attendance figures released within 24 hours. Interesting.
638 but close enough. It was enough to look like SOMETHING in the short game videos on Baja's page. I saw their first game and it looked like there were only two or three rows of seats (and there may have only been that many back then because the facility is being completed on the fly).
Thursday, December 31 Missouri @ Cedar Rapids - 3,110 Chicago @ Milwaukee - 5,652 Baltimore @ Harrisburg - 1,583 Happy New Year, MASL fans.
Nice crowd in Milwaukee. Unfortunately, the Milwaukee franchise refuses to treat the sport with any respect. How can a PA guy be allowed to openly criticize opponent players during a game? Why would a teams security try to physically remove an opposing team from the playing field while they are still celebrating with their fans? What has happened to Milwaukee? I have been a fan of indoor soccer since the early 80's. I have seen many great games in Milwaukee. Having such a great crowd in Milwaukee should have been a celebration of the sport. It was a great game and a great crowd. Why would a couple of people that are actually being paid to work the event, act like total idiots? Doesn't anyone associated with the Milwaukee franchise care about the sport?
The family that owned the Kansas City Blades called this the 'Mt Everest Theory' Apparently when Mt Everest was first surveyed it came to EXACTLY 29000 feet, the guy measuring it feared people would think it was a guess/estimate and declared it 29002 feet just to look scientific Tip of the iceberg Seriously I have been <given a Yellow Card for digging up that dead horse so you can beat it again--Mod.> ...In closing I think the Wave are a great testament to the sport and glad they are in the league. <dead horse whipping deleted again--Mod.>

Not trying to make anyone do any unnecessary work but I know a fair amount of you are very into the numbers. If anyone has the numbers readily available, what are the average attendance numbers this year compared to the same amount of games last year? Just wondering what the overall attendance trend is.
According to Pointstreak, in all games in 2014-15 the average attendance was 2,451 (led by Rochester's 6,539). Remove Rochester and the 2014-15 average was 2,260. Through 98 league games in 2015-16, the average attendance is 2,370.
I'd imagine we'll see another one of these from Kenn at some point: http://www.kenn.com/the_blog/?p=7623
Given the games leading up, I'm still surprised we drew that much for Saltillo on a Tuesday. That's our third highest game, after 1. Brownsville on January 2, and 2. San Diego on December 12.
Friday, January 8 Las Vegas @ Turlock - 525 Harrisburg @ Syracuse - 1,764 Waza Flo @ Baltimore - 3,921 Dallas @ Saltillo - 400
Baltimore, St. Louis and Sonora are the three clubs averaging over an announced 5k at the moment. Baja, Las Vegas, Brownsville, Turlock, Saltillo and Sacramento are all under 500. That's 30% of the league's roster. League average is 2,362.
Saturday, January 9 St. Louis @ Milwaukee - 3,861 Las Vegas @ Sacramento - 500 Chicago @ Missouri - 4,202 Harrisburg @ Baltimore - 6,630 Dallas @ Brownsville - 200
The Ambush are playing an 11AM game this Friday against Syracuse. The tickets will be free for all and those who had bought tickets already can trade them in for a future game. The game was going to be 7pm but there was a schedule conflict with the Family Arena.
