Third Round (with all Premier League teams joining the draw) will take place January 8-10, 2016. Fox will feature 9 matches during the round - including a tripleheader on Sunday on FoxSports-1: ..7:00am Oxford v Swansea ..8:00am Chelsea v Scunthorpe United 10:00am Tottenham v Leicester Here is the complete TV schedule: http://soccertvblog.com/facup-tv/ SA www.soccertvblog.com
What are they doing in the 8-9AM overlap? Are they only showing the second half of Chelsea-Scunthorpe or are they not showing the second half of Oxford-Swansea?
Here's what I see: Oxford v Swansea at 6:50 Chelsea vs Scunthorpe United at 9 Tottenham v Leicester City at 11 Manchester United plays Sheffield United at 12:30. My local FOX affiliate has an infomercial at 12:30, what I am assuming is local programming at 1 PM and another infomercial at 2:30 before some football-related show at 3 PM. I am assuming that whatever progamming is currently scheduled for FOX affiliates can/will be dumped? Then again, according to what Oliver said a few years ago, it can be rather tricky for the affiliates to give that space up unless it's something breaking/urgent such as national news or a State of the Union or such. Still, I cannot imagine that Manchester United would not be on broadcast FOX. I mean, why not?
Nah it looks like it Man United will be on FS2 because of college basketball. Luckily for me I have Fox Deportes which will be showing it but if you don't you're out of luck until the delayed broadcast at 6 or 6:30 EDT
Sorry for the confusion guys. There is no overlap of kickoff times for Sunday's TV matches. The correct kickoff times for the FoxSports-1 tripleheader are: ..7:00am Oxford v Swansea ..9:00am Chelsea v Scunthorpe United (also on Fox Dep.) 11:00am Tottenham v Leicester (also on Fox Dep.) As for Saturday, here is the LIVE match schedule: ..7:45am Wycombe v Aston Villa - FS-1 + Fox Dep. 10:00am Arsenal v Sunderland - FS-1 + Fox Dep. 10:00am Doncaster v Stoke City - FS-2 10:00am Eastleigh v Bolton - FS+ 12:30pm Manchester United v Sheffield United - FS2 + Fox Dep. Complete schedule with delayed broadcasts at: http://soccertvblog.com/facup-tv/ SA www.soccertvblog.com
Did Fox get a choice of any game or are only some of them available? At the same time as Eastleigh (fifth level)-Bolton (second level), there are three games between two Premier League clubs not on TV, Watford-Newcastle United, Norwich City-Manchester City, and Southampton-Crystal Palace
Pretty packed schedule from FOX. All is cool now, but what's going to happen on the weekends of the 4th & 5th rounds of the FA Cup when the Bundesliga is also in action?
Also looks like City might be on Yes, but seeing will be believing. When Setanta existed, they regularly broadcast domestic cup games on delay via ChelseaTV and MUTV but for some reason the other broadcasters have been unwilling to do that. The three-day delay rule (maybe it was even 1-day delay in the past) shouldn't matter since most of these broadcasts follow that schedule for league games.
FOX pays a lot of money to show the Big East, but actually kind of surprised they didn't bump Georgetown-DePaul to FS2 for Manchester United-SUFC (which would out-rate the hoops game). Of course FS1 needs to set their schedule for basketball before knowing the FA Cup schedule, so kind of makes sense.
I think they're restricted to matches that the FA is prepping for live distribution. And Saturday 3pm UK kickoffs probably correlate with what the BBC is focusing on for their highlights program (which probably stresses minnows Eastleigh over some dull all Prem ties). English media usually focus on league pyramid differences in the Cup rather than being overly focused on the Premier League. Can tell from the BBC and BT picks, only one all Prem match on TV: http://www.thefa.com/thefacup/more/tv Watch ties in the world's oldest domestic cup competition live on TV Third Round Proper Exeter City v Liverpool 7.55pm Friday 8 January Live on BBC 1 Wycombe Wanderers v Aston Villa 12.45pm Saturday 9 January Live on BT Sport 2 Manchester United v Sheffield United 5.30pm Saturday 9 January Live on BT Sport 2 Oxford United v Swansea City 12noon Sunday 10 January Live on BBC 2 Wales Chelsea v Leyton Orient or Scunthorpe United 2pm, Sunday 10 January Live on BT Sport 2 Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City 4pm Sunday 10 January Live on BBC 1 Cardiff City v Shrewsbury Town 6pm Sunday 10 January Live on S4C
Seeing that broadcasters around the world are showing the same 3 matches with 1500 kickoff times, its obvious there was no choice for Fox as to which games were available. I think QPR Kevin (above) nailed it as far as reason. Watching the matches now on SuperSport/South Africa now (in HD) via IPTV.... SA www.soccertvblog.com

Portsmouth-AFC Bournemouth at 12:00 P.M. on Fox Soccer Plus (will be played at 10:00 A.M. and be live on Fox Soccer2Go) Liverpool-West Ham United at 12:30 P.M. on Fox Sports 2 (coverage begins at 12:25 P.M.) That's four games on Fox Sports 1, two games on Fox Sports 2, two games on Fox Soccer Plus (one delayed), and eight games not on TV. Edit: I saw Aston Villa-Manchester City, which will be on Saturday at 10:00 A.M., listed as on BBC Radio but not on live TV. It will be on Manchester City TV on YES on Monday at 11:30 P.M. and Tuesday at 6:00 A.M. If you count that game, nine out of sixteen Fourth Round games will be on TV.

Chelsea-Manchester City at 11:00 A.M. on Fox Sports 2 Monday February 22: Shrewsbury Town-Manchester United at 2:45 P.M. on Fox Sports 1 (coverage begins at 2:30 P.M.) I was surprised I didn't see TV for two games on Sunday, but Fox Sports 2 has FA Cup games with teams TBA at 2:00 P.M., 4:00 P.M., and 6:00 P.M., so they may be on TV delayed.
Hey Evan, We posted within a minute of each other. I defer to you.... SA PS. Blackburn v West Ham on FS2 Tottenham v Palace on the Regional networks.
