Wood played 90 and earned an assist in a 1-1 draw at home against Arminia Bielefeld. Union Berlin will end the weekend in 13th place in the 2. Bundesliga.

Doesn't Irish math involve converting everything to fifths and liters?

MLS assist? Transfermarkt gives it to Kreilach.

Yeah, I read "zweimal Aluminium" on the BL matchday ticker as well. Not just any metal, Aluminium. So precise.

Just another example for post-romantic footy vernacular, see also: round leather, textile misdemeanor, traffic light card, witch's cauldron, mutual frisking, ....

Have you seen Wooten play much? He's putting up good numbers too. Haven't gotten to see much of Wooten, but obviously much more Wood for US. How do they compare if you have seen them both. Thanks.

This feels like a pun set up. How much Wood would a Wooten chuck Wood?

I was drunk most of the match, so I can't be overly analytical...lol. I will say that he's so damn quick. I was really surprised by that He was really lucky to not have scored. Hit the post and crossbar like 5 minutes apart if memory serves me correctly.

After hearing about the history of the stadium, I just had to be there. Plus getting to see my favorite team, Arminia Bielefeld, play again was an added bonus!

First time I heard that joke I almost lost it because the woman telling it had me convinced I'd been to another country. Hahha!

I've not gotten a chance to see Wooten play yet. I plan on it, though!

It's a cool little stadium and the fans are certainly enthusiastic. Saw Ryan Coiner play there for Union years ago -- don't remember the opponent offhand, though I probably posted about it...

I would love to hear that story sometime . . .
