The team forfeit the game before the kick off.

What is the chance to win against Bate and to get Bayern in knockout stage ?

Been really busy the past month or so lads but I've been keeping up with Roma matches, just not had the time to post on here. Honestly, what was that tonight? Bizarre in every sense from Rudi. Almost as though he used the second half to rest players, as though a pumping like that didn't matter. The substitution decisions were bewilidering.

This situation reminded me of ours last season in the CL. If I remember correctly, CSKA beat City 1-2 in Manchester in the early kick-off and we could go through without having to get any result against Bayern at home (we still had CSKA away and City in Rome to play). Bayern as we all painfully remember done us 1-7.
With the Bate-Bayer draw before our game even kicked off tonight, it felt like that again. The team knew this game was too hard to even draw and just turned up for this tonight and nothing more, no spirit or fight whatsoever because they know the Bate game is the one to decide matters.

Always bitterly disappointing to be beaten like this but Romanisti must be more desensitized than any other fanbase for stuff like this now.

I think that Zenit is the most decent prospect for us if we make it past the group stage

first we have to not piss down our leg on the 9th, which i'd put at 50/50.

but far be it from me to say something that'll get met with absolute mockery, but I'll take my chances with all not named Bayern. Yep, even the team coached by the Fat Waiter.

I agree. We have a shot against every team who is not Bayern, but first NO CHOKING against Bate. We need the extra cash and some coefficent points or next year we will be in pot 4 again

Maicon is so over the hill. Kind of hilarious that he's relied on as the starter.

stopped watching after 0-2 (which should have been 0-5 already). Nice to see we are the same old Roma in Champions League.

This is a team and coach with no fire in the belly. Pathetic.

Agree. That's why i didn't even put my alarm for the game.

I assume a win vs Bate guarantees qualification (because even if BL wins, our head2head beats them?).

    We advance if:
    - We win (regardless of what happens in Germany)
    - Bayer doesn't beat Barca and we don't lose to BATE

    We go out:
    - If we lose against BATE (regardless of what happens in Germany)
    - Bayer beat Barca and we fail to beat BATE

Clearly our fate in our hands and our chances are much much better than Bayer. But Knowing Roma ways of doing things I wouldn't put it past us to shit the bed royally against BATE at home.

Szczesny.... Oh Szczesny.... That is the stupidest thing he could have ever said. It wasn't beautiful, it was a nightmare.

Given his comments of late and body language while playing, I'm starting to think Szczesny sees his loan to Roma as a punishment.
