It's much easier now that the majority of the matches are on the nbc family, with champions league stuff on fox sports stuff.
Right, how hard could it be? No different than knowing the NFC is mostly on FOX and the AFC mostly on CBS.
Where did I say it was hard? Jeesh! I just was asking what everyone used to keep track of what TV channels to watch or record. Given that there are more channels to keep track of than there used to be: NBC, NBCSN, LiveExtra 1-5, FOX, FS1, FS2. Tonerl's reply/link was by far the most constructive and helpful. http://www.arsenal.com/usa/news/features/where-to-watch-arsenal Thanks for that... I'll bookmark it and try to remember it!
Glad to see Directv finally settled with ESPN so WatchESPN is now available to us. Took way too long though.
just switched to directv this month. nfl sunday ticket, the extra CL channels, and now watchespn, very happy right now. i pay less to get more than what i had with dish.
And holy crap is NBC so much bettter at it than Fox Soccer was. Warren Barton- such a punchable face.
And now Fox Sports is pulling the same bullshit with the Bundesliga that GolTV did for years, only 4 matches (one on Friday, 2 on Saturday, and one on Sunday) per weekend and no other avenue available to watch your favorite BL club (VfL Wolfsburg) for every match every week, which is why I switched from full dedication to the Bundesliga, especially after getting that ICE Cyber-crime Enter Virus in my PC in 2013-14 after trying to stream Wolfsburg's first match of that season (away to Hannover 96) on one of those illegal sites, to becoming a full-time Gooner AND being able to watch The Gunners every match every week either on TV or online through NBC Sports LIVE EXTRA, thanks to DISH!!! Fox can NEVER duplicate its coverage HANDS DOWN!!! COYF'n'G!!! Beat Chel$ki!!!
FS1 is the worst. Can you imagine the EPL going back to that? Fox is the worst - from their lack of available matches, mediocre studio work and FS2 isn't even available in HD in NYC. Was really disappointed they won the next 3 WC's. NBC has been a gift for EPL fans in the US - we get better coverage than fans watching in the UK.
The MLS already went back to it, and they took John Strong along with them (He was doing the NBC/NBCSN coverage of Major League Soccer along with Arlo White and Kyle Martino.). On TV, and online, your favorite team (The Gunners), every match, every week, LIVE!!! THAT is what makes NBC/NBCSN's coverage superior to what FS1/FS2, GolTV and beIN Sports will ever have to offer for the other 4 major football leagues (Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga BBVA) and that is why NBC/NBCSN is more than worthy for all Premier League Football fans nationwide!!! COYF'n'G!!!
There's no new match thread yet, but for tomorrow's game against West Brom (11/21) we're on at 10 EST on USA.
So hilarious! I started a "placeholder" match day thread in order to spur some conversation. It was deleted by mods under the pretense that I couldn't start a new one since the last thread starter had to do it. Guess we are better off without one according to the mods! They refuse to help when needed, but have no problem deleting gameday threads. Brainless....
Nope - we wait for the rightful thread starter. That's just the way it's always been done. Like "The Lottery".
I'm all for the winning thread starter keeping the mojo going, that's a great idea. However, as it appears that won't happen, you are suggesting it would just be better to just go without? There isn't a whole lot of logic in your viewpoint, but oh well...
