Karim has had numerous chances other players haven't been afforded.. so he can't complain really. Perez has favoured him too much.

Actually, its exactly about that. If he's proven guilty, he should be sacked. If not, he should stay. The whole case is about upholding the law, isn't it?

Not realistic, brah. At least not unless he pushes for a move. We also have Benzema on our hands who now has depreciated in value due to the scandal.

The transcripts look pretty bad for Benzema.

I would support sacking Benz as well. BUT - Florentino would never do that. Karim is his baby.
    Like Bale.

    Reus.

Anyhoo, there should be a clause that allows us to nullify the contract in case he participates in criminal activity right?

instead of Benzy Reus? doubt that. not a single true CF in this team? would be quite weird.

Reus, James, Bale (assuming CR leaves). Sounds quite good to me.

The guy that Benzema calls his brother in the transcript is a convicted criminal. Benzema visited him in jail when he was serving time for getting caught with 210 kg of drugs in his car a couple years ago. The tape is in Benzema's friends hands, and Benzema was sent to get his friend the money, hence why he tells Benzema "you did very well" when he tells him that Valbuena was affraid.

Benzema tried to help his friend get himself some money.

Valbuena's lawyer said that "if what we read is true, then Karim Benzema isn't a friend of my client".

It's time to accept the facts. Even if Benzema gets away, you have to be incredibly naive to think that he tried to help Valbuena.

These guys grew up together, they call each other brothers. During the World cup in Brazil, Benzema's friend was staying close to the national team, and punched a french journalist in the face for wiriting unflattering words about Benzema.

In tears at "up to no good" considering his record. :D

This should be self-explanatory. Karim is epic dumb-ass. Professional football player, playing for Real Madrid..... and then this.... FCKIN DUMB-ASS.

So i guess this means buying a striker in the winter transfer window + one or two in the summer.

If he's really really close with this person, like best friends from childhood, I would understand. You try to help out your friends even in bad things. If its just a random guy from his entourage, then it was simply not worth it. He should have known that if this thing comes out his career will be in jeopardy.

I do believe that from Benzema's point of view, he believed that he was actually helping Valbuena too. Pay the money, tape doesn't get leaked, everybody goes home happy. But Valbuena decided to take it to court, so again Benzema turned out to be the dumb one in the situation.

Aguero next summer please. The time has come.

If he's not guilty, then that's good for him. However, he's doing heavy damage by getting the club some bad publicity. It's not only about what happens on the field. This could also hurt the club financially (sponsors..) if the club supports a convicted criminal (not saying he is one...). Also, from a reputational standpoint, it would look very bad on the club.

The last thing we need is another player that spends half the season on the injury table . doesnt matter how good you are if your not actually on the field to do anything .

This is a blessing in disguise assuming we finally upgrade our striker position. Too bad we didn't take Arsenal's amazingly generous offer that somehow a bunch of users on here didn't think was even close to good enough, lmao!

Has Benzema's mom posted here lately? I forget her username, but she was constantly posting pro-Benzema propaganda.

He never spent half a season on the injury table. But I get it, now its Lewandowski who's en vogue. I wouldn't mind him either, but I think he would be even harder to get than Aguero, and Kun is the better player for me.

You have to be a complete idiot to write what you've written.
Benzema is a nasty motherfu**er and I lost all my respect for him...
"If he's really close friends with him, I understand him,"
YOU EARN 8MIL EUROS PER YEAR, HELP A FRIEND OUT THEN.
Ah no. Better blackmail my mate with his sextape.

Benzema is a fantastic player. That's why this is such a major shame. This sucks a lot for the club.
