And as cool as it is (or was, or has been) having a name like Klinsmann attached to the program and giving a perceived air of cosmopolitan sophistication, nobody but nobody is going to be motivated to follow and support Team Klinsmann through thick and thin over the long haul.
Indeed but I've photographed I don't know how many Russian models far more attractive. Far be it from me to knock the appeal of a beautiful woman, but I just don't understand why people feel have to go looking for them in the WTA. There is no shortage of them all over the media.
Haha, ive been thinking the exact same thing "we are gonna build a wall.......and mexico is gonna pay for it! I have a plan to make America great!" (Cheers emphatically in Klinsinista)
no, but she does have a texas hold 'em hand named after her. (A, K unsuited, looks great, never wins)
It's funny you read it that way. I assumed it was more like she was telling him that the way he was treating his players physically was insane so he sacked her.
Just like Germany is Adidas's home team, US Soccer is Nike's home team. And the big boys (Nike, Adi, UA, etc) have figured out that winning in soccer has a halo effect. You actually sell more basketball shoes on the global market if your soccer sponsorships are going well. This is less true in North America, but at the end of the day, Nike sells more if their home team does well. Nike is not walking away from US Soccer anytime soon, but they will absolutely use every tool at their disposal to right a ship going wrong.
He's the Chief Commercial Officer so he probably negotiated the sponsorship deals and tracks how the money is being spent.
None of this is surprising, JK has been on the "I'm going to alienate everyone I can" train since he got rid of Donovan, a decision that was almost certainly second guessed and lambasted by pretty much anyone involved in pro-soccer in the US, that doesn't get paid to give opinions. Its hard not to believe that actual people he works with or is supposed to work with are starting to get tired of the dog and pony show.
Go with a throwback?? Sad isn't it. I wear my Preki rainbow kit every month and Besler to home mls games P.S. married w/9 children
9!? Dear god man. I thought 4 was bad. I don't know how one would find time to make more of the things after 4.
Hey amigo... you have at least one your a club carrying member for life. Lol. I was wanting 9 wives and one child and ran into klinsmann in college and he got me all bacwards...I see he's still up to his tricks of totally 180ing the whole damn outlook.
One is just playign house. Two is getting started. Once you have to switch from man to man to zone D (3 kids, 2 parents) that's when you're in the club.
Marcela Gulati (Sunil's wife) is Mexican and a rabid El Tri fan. People were speculating whether Klinsmann's hire wasn't Sunil present for her.
Five slams (French x2, Australian, US Open, Wimbledon), an Olympic silver and currently ranked #3 in the world, ATP. She's one of the most accomplished current female players.
Exactly. The current crop, compared to the historic winners, are nothing. In great part because the Williams have won so many. In a rank of Top 40 by accomplishment, you won't find Maria's name.
In the repulsive personality scale, I find Bouchard several ticks worse than Klinsmann, actually. Klinsi may be a bit egomaniac, but at least talks to people like a normal human. Eugenie deals with people as if they were props in a studio.
Among the Top 30 in Grand Slams. Well, that's something. I was thinking more of total tournament wins, but being in Top 30 in Grand Slams is nothing to sneeze at. Still, shouldn't be making so much in sponsorships.
