It's been 6 years in the waiting. We have finally returned to the U-17 world stage after our last performance (and best) in 2009.

Of course at this level anything can happen, but just based on history I just don't like our chances vs. Brazil when it comes to youth tournaments... our history there is riddled with nothing but bad results vs. Brazil (only victory over Brazil at youth level I remember was some meaningless friendly tournament during Park CY's U-20 era). I would be very glad with a tie but more realistically we should probably be focused on limiting the damage then pick up points vs. other two teams.

This game will be on Fox Soccer Plus / 2 Go for those who have access to.

That's great for the 1% of the population that actually has FSP. :(

Sadly FSP is a zombie of a channel but FS2Go has been worth it for me to have all BL matches available on tablet and works out to a reasonable per month fee even if the service is sketchy at times...

at least I can justify it to the wife as being able to hang out with family and watch in the evening rather than stuck in front of laptop on a transient stream.

FS2Go doesn't have any VOD/replay options does it? I have it through my TV provider which only gives me access to FS1/2/Deportes. You get the replay option with FSP?

Sorry, Fox Sports Go (FSGO) <> Fox Soccer 2 Go (FS2GO)

The former is free with subscription but only shows live sports (and doesn't work with unified billing under ATT/DirecTV as far as I've been able to tell).

The latter is $100 per year but allows VOD/replay of soccer for 2 weeks or something. And bypasses Fox Sports Plus requirements (i.e. FS2GO way better for less money than FSP because you get everything that FSP shows, on demand replay and broadcasts/replay of what you may not get such as non-broadcast Europa League or FS2).

If I were single and with not much to do on Saturday morning besides nurse a hangover, I'd not subscribe but I got kids' games to coach/attend and things to do to avoid wrath of wife. $100 is a fair compromise even if it should be cheaper.

Pulling a positive result against Brazil maybe one thing. I personally want to our young links not get pushed around, intimidated just a simple fact that the opponent is 'Brazil'. Seungwoo gets a little bit of criticism for being none conformist, brashy, attitude problem back home. But I think that may help us in this case. Seungwoo's not going to get intimidated or get pushed around by anyone. And I think that will rub off positively for rest of the team in this game.

Grea sports day for me. Go to work today, come home to a Korea vs Brazil match at 6pm and right away a mets game at 8pm.

    Let's make at a double(for me).

Yay! Time for another big tourney. Well maybe not so big, but still noteworthy. As with the women's world cup earlier i'll post some streaming links. i also hope you guys win over Brazil.

Chaminator covered pretty much what i wanted to say in the post above, so don't bash the team too soon, expect the unexpected.

Unfortunately I'll likely miss the first half of this game due to it overlapping with the Jays/Royals, damn. But Jays in the playoffs for first time in over 20 years take priority over non-decisive U-17 kids match for me...

dude just watch it while studying that's my plan

Also you know what's funny? I'm looking at the USA U17 starting XI and there's a Nelson, Trusty, and Wright... and then there are two Pulisic's, an Arellano, Calvillo, Zendejas, Gallardo, and Perez

I'm bad with doing two things at the same time :(
I will probably watch some of it though as a break...
Hope they don't disappoint but I would be pretty understanding. LSW is rusty, and his team mates suck.
