The bit you quoted was specifically not about 1 of the 2 goals. It was a situation in the game I saw.
We can agree to disagree. On one hand we've got good young players coming up, but others like Propper and Ziyech should have been called up anyway. On the other we have so many injuries and bad luck (Clasie, Strootman, Robben, Promes, Willems, etc.) at this time. Why is it guys like Huntelaar, Dost and de Jong can post great domestic scoring records but we can't even get them the ball in scoring positions for the NT? And don't tell me we don't have players that can do that because we do. I agree. Strootman too is a really no-nonsense type player that is really a big blow to lose.
That's another thing. It seems some of our players are really being weighed down by the pressure of this game, but we never should have been in this position in the first place. I feel bad because I think this is Sneijder's swan song...same for Robben. They won't last to WC 2018, IMO. They deserve better.
This is true. Definitely a stark contrast from van Marwijk and van Gaal. You would never see those two sitting on the bench with their head down and arms crossed either.
The team is so not compact. Attacking line us sometimes up there and defense is all the way back. That disorganization is opposite of the past. Remember the Colombia game. That was well organised game plan. This is garbage. Blind raus.
There used to be times when watching the Dutch offense was like this: Today, dutch offense is like watching this:
