Someone explain to me why we bring of Zardes for Yedlin. It made no sense, at all. Jones had clearly been gassed since HT, and we were ********ing crying for width. With Zardes and Yedlin on the outside we could have stretched the field, and had speed. Why the ******** even play Jones as a LM to begin with? So stupid. So terribly coached. Also, why no Williams for Becks. ********ing dumb.

Cowards. The USA has lost its identity. This team doesn't have any self-respect or spirit. Shame on them.
It'd be nice to have players with technical skill. I'm not sure this country will produce players anytime soon with top-flight ability to do what other countries consider basic: first touch, passing, running with the ball at feet, technique in striking the ball, etc. Other aptitudes needed to be a true contender at the international level are players with vision to see a play or two ahead, composure in tight space, and a knack for finishing. We just don't have enough of this in our player pool and with every passing year the hope that this will eventually change seems to get pushed farther and farther into the future.
RIP USA soccer: 1994-2015. It's time for a full housecleaning, from top to bottom. Klinsmann out, but more importantly, Gulati out. This is an utter failure of everything that the United States has been doing. If we were a real soccer country, the supporters would either boycott Tuesday's match or boo the team for the entire match. But we aren't, so we won't.
Played there in the WC and did well. Played well tonight. Was still hustling until the final whistle.
I hope those 70,000+ Mexicans have a safe flight back to Mexico. Oh, wait. They all live in LA. The US is going to have an interesting qualifying road. With quality like that, we might end up on the bubble until the very end.
It is not fun. It is not entertaining. Hell, it is not interesting. 2 games of US Soccer today, and honestly two teams that if I had no emotional connection to, I would have turned the channel in less than a minute. It is truly awful, shameful, stuff.
His management of the subs was a fricking joke and the team was set up to sit back and absorb pressure for no good reason. Jurgen showed his ass tonight and hopefully it'll be enough to get him canned. But yeah, hooray, I was wrong for dogging Bobby Wood. The team still lost and the coach still sucks.
Klinsmann didn't show any guts with his subs, just like the Jamaica match. He needed to take a risk and sub off one of the Old Guard that had tired legs, but instead he pulled Altidore, Johnson and Zardes. Wood over Wondo worked, but it was still a purely reactionary sub that replaced the wrong player.
I'm not optimistic and the U23 team was garbage today, but technically we can still qualify for the Olympics.
It made sense the way Mexico was playing to attempt to counter. Biggest miss of the game for me was Jozy missing a wide open Jones on a counter. Dude had the entire half of a field to himself. Either way, entertaining game. On to the next one.
Everyone who isnt buying and chugging the Klinsmann Kool-Aid in bulk knows what needs to happen. Unfortunately I believe Sunil to be one of Klinsi's best customers.
