Aberdeen beat Hamilton (their game in-hand) last night to go five points clear of Celtic. Derek McInnes has this season broke Sir Alex's record and now has Aberdeen's greatest ever start to a season (Ferguson previously had W4D1 in 84/85 and McInnes has now W7). At the weekend too they beat Celtic 2-1 hilst down to ten men, the opposite happened against them at Pittordie last season. That game is the one noted that Celtic started to pull away from the pack in 2014/15. Aberdeen have been on the up for a while but I hope it lasts longer than it did last season. McInnes has brought real enthusiasm back to them and is probably one of the two brightest young Scottish managers around at the moment alongside Norwich's Alex Neil.
