They need the defensive ability. Seattle is too dangerous.

No better tandem than Martins and Dempsey. Understand each other so well. MPG for Cato or Salinas at the half

MPG puts up defensive numbers on par, if not better than Alashe.

    Pelosi has been almost invisible.

Francis has been the most effective offensive player on the outside.

All of the Seattle players in that spine are tall and strong. Garcia would get muscled off them.

    Time wasting and diving.

Couldn't get a shot of an ultra banner that used Louis Vuitton and Seattle and flea market

    The last Seattle game:

    MPG - 7 tackles, 11 duels won, 9 ball recoveries, 2 interceptions
    Alashe - 2 tackles, 8 duels won, 4 ball recoveries, 2 interceptions

    You were saying?

The dental contest is rigged! They showed the winner before they spun the wheel

Yep. He is underrated as an attacker. I've been trying to make that case

Pelosi does not pair well with Godoy. Too much chasing and back passing. Pelosi does not enable any attack. I'd rather see MPG in that spot. Unless u guys think he is neutralizing Dempsey. I can't really see the field that well. I'm wearing polarized sunglasses for the glare.

I would stick MPG outside and let him drift inward to create and drive at Seattle. Our CM pairing in this game in particular has a huge task of clogging up service to Valdez, Martins and Dempsey. They are a pretty narrow team so MPG would have a lot of freedom out wide.

That doesn't challenge my point. What do you think is going to happen when he has to go up against Dempsey or Martins?

I don't have the same crystal ball you do, but I know MPG is a very good defensive player (the numbers show it) and regularly uses his short stature to leverage position to win the ball. I'm sure he would be doing better than Pelosi so far.

I've gone away from numbers in soccer. Soccer actions all depend on context and stats strip too much of that away.

The one number I believe in is wins. Pelosi is more of a winner.

Salinas is too much of a nice guy to go down on the contact. That very well may have been a penalty if he went down.

Now you're just making up stuff. In what universe does Pelosi have a better "win" number than MPG?
