BeIN repeatedly had a Panama-Uruguay game mistakenly listed under the heading of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers.
so Bein ended up falsely advertising the Liberia game? It was supposed to go on at 12, no? What am I missing here?
well isn't there always that one western union ad where the lady in NYC sends money back to her sister in Africa or something
Dear BeIN Sports: Please fix your TV listings. Both Verizon FIOS and Tivo DVR listings are off/wrong. edit: Actually, your website is busted AS WELL for english language schedule. This is ridiculous, it's showing placeholders.
Bein4 (streaming) Is not showing Canada vs Belice match as their tvguide says, they have USA vs Brasil instead, I wonder if they have the rights for that game hehe :/
That is pretty weird. Was the USA match in another language? If not I can't imagine how they got the rights to stream it in English since it was on WatchESPN.
If im not mistaken didnt bein also stream the fa cup final on connect? Its wierd that they streamed the us game.
beIN have consistently shown Brazil's friendlies. I can't remember if the match was on espn3. If it wasn't, that means beIN retained the streaming rights (via their rights to broadcast Brazil's friendlies). That is the only logical explanation for them showing the match on their streaming service. As far as beIN and scheduling these days - a total and embarrassing mess. I know for a fact that last year they used an outside firm to provide the scheduling guide on their website. I don't know if the problem is this 3rd party or the simple fact that they have added all of the streaming services and they have simply overwhelmed themselves. Either way, its a mess with different sources showing different schedules. Their own website has placeholders. I can understand the opening weekend being a bumpy road but at this point its just incompetence. SA www.soccertvblog.com
It was http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index#type/replay/sport/soccer-futbol/ 9/08 - 8:30 PM EDT - United States vs. Brazil (International Friendly)
Either they acquired streaming rights, they think they acquired streaming rights (streaming is still such a grey area being it is a relatively new technology), or they do not have the streaming rights in the USA, but do have them for some other countries and they accidentally added them to the wrong bein connect service or forgot to geoblock the match. Who knows?
This weekend's US TV info finally up on the site (and quite frankly, no thanks to beIN). The good news is that every Serie A match will be available between the TV channels and streaming (assuming it will work!). Here are the schedules for the beIN properties with Premier League and Bundesliga links on the pages as well. beIN-1 showing the Belize v Canada qualifier now (Wednesday, 8pm ET). Sounds like they found some random guy in Belize on a park bench with nothing better to do, to do the commentary. Hilarious if it wasn't so sad... SA www.soccertvblog.com
"Hutcheson with the bawll. Short pass. Bawl with the Canada. Bawl ready. Canada with the bawl. Long pass. Oh! Good drive. Oh foul. Free kick for da Canada. Foul by this number 5." This guy is horrendous. I want to make a video of how bad this guy is
"Goawl for Belize. GOAAAL. Fans very happy. Belize 1-niwl. Nice goawl." Sorry if your recording the game, but I assume you wont watch it after listening to this guy.
The fact that bein's schedule is still not up is a total joke. Any idea of championship coverage for the weekend?

I think their guide is on UK time -- http://www.beinsports.com/us/tv-guide -- just so many bugs in the system.
