Yeah and in the TV Guide area when you click on a game that is live, it does not take you to any video or anything...just a load of nonsense going on here with BEIN...
I tried watching matches today, first by going straight to the beinconnect site: nothing on that schedule other than 2 matches that were not on beiñ and bein. So then I DLed this new app you guys speak. When I clicked on the "beinconnect" link on it (somewhere on the left-hand side), I'd get a message saying "server not available". "Super bien", bein.
I had the same experience MetroChile. While the Android app loaded with no problem, each time I tried to get to a screen to log-in I received the "server not available " message. I tried at different times of the day and just gave up.
When I tried to log in with Fios using Safari, it kept taking me back to the select your TV provider screen. I was able to log in using Opera.
I find the new schedule to be a pain to read. Wasting screen usage on "trending programs" as if that's even relevant on any level whatsoever. Military time(I'm not an idiot, but it does take a second to process), no idea what's live and what's not, and have to scroll everywhere for just one day's worth of games. It was the one thing that they had been better than NBC, ESPN, and Fox with. They're just run by clowns. End of.
When Connect does work, what is the best browser app for it, in your guys' opinion? FlashFox, Opera, Dolphin? Thanks in advance for your response.
On my old Android phone it is currently Dolphin. On my newer Android tablet Chrome works well for the most part. As does Opera.
And the crazy thing about my phone is that almost none of the browsers allow it to play in full screen anymore. Even with Dolphin it gets annoying because I have to press the full screen button quickly on the video player before the game loads or else it just freezes up.
Juve v Udinese not available on beinsportsconnect via web. Should be here: http://www.beinsportsconnect.tv/livenow/bein-sports-connect-4 but blank. Is it available to those using Apps? Just curious... SA www.soccertvblog.com
It is on the Android app. And it is one of the best streams aesthetically I have seen all week. Not as choppy and blurry as the other Android BEIN streams on my phone.
I have Android app (on Samsung Galaxy tablet) and getting the Juve match on beinSports4. PS. I believe the website only has four streams available...the two TV stations plus beIN2 & 3. beIN 2 seems to be 24-hrs/day Real Madrid TV which leaves only channel 3 (which currently has a Ligue 1 match). Hopefully, they will get their act togoether soon, since in past years if a game like Juve was to be on delay on TV, they would definitely show it live on Connect.
Thanks guys. I had a couple of people contact me ticked off they can't watch the match. Sure enough, I cannot get it via their websites. I had a feeling it may work via Apps. Very strange.... SA www.soccertvblog.com PS. Watching it on BTSport-2 (also on SkyCalcio-1). I'm at the point I don't care if beIN have it or not!
I have to say that I love the new app, but I connect all such apps to my large flat screen. This app does not support HDMI output...as soon as I plus it in the video dies with an error message. Theonly other app I have found to do this is ShowtimeAnytime. For the heck of it, I tried screen mirroring between the two devices and, while even the Showtime app work, beIN again shuts the video down. I am utilizing an Android (Samsung) tablet. My question is for anyone who has an iOS (Apple) tablet. Have any of you tried connection through HDMI to a TV monitor, and do you get the same result? Or is this problem (or limitation on purpose) limited to Android devices?
One of the commentators for the Juve match sounds like the geeky guy with glasses Men in blazers character.
Listening to Hudson and Schoen doing this game is making me depressed that beIN reupped for a thousand more years(under shady business dealings, no less). We should've done a Kickstarter to publicly shame beIN or strengthened a competitor's bid or something.
LiveSoccer TV (my bible for footy on TV) doesn't have either Inter Milan's or Marseille's match listed for today yet during the Xpress last night, comms said both games would be aailable through Connect. Hope LiveSoccer, which is usually very reliable, is wrong on this one.
Where exactly am I to go on the app in order to be able to view these matches???? EDIT: found both. One is listed on channel 4 and the other one on 7. So I clicked on both and what did I get? "Server not available". Fhuck you, bein.
Wow watching the express extra and they're doing the English Championship recap and the guy says "like your cousin's mixtape (players name) is on fire" . Then when they go to break the say "your watching the mixtape called the express extra"
Okay, after testing out the Ipad app the quality is solid. At the time I tested it out initially it was not , but now it is just about as good as the BEIN connect safari stream and chrome stream. And the picture quality is MUCH, Much better than the Android app visually. So I guess being first does not always translate to being best applies here. I hope this and the website issues are resolved soon.
This weekend's schedule is done for the beIN properties - including next week's delayed broadcasts. Just like last weekend, 3 Serie A matches are missing; 2 Ligue-1 matches are not available; all of La Liga is available between channels and streaming. This will be the last weekend of the crazy Serie A schedule with 7 matches kicking off Sunday evening. Its likely we will see all Serie A matches available when the league returns for the 3rd round (after the Int'l break which is the weekend after the next). The normal schedule only has 5 matches Sunday morning with the rest scattered over 2/3 days. Here are the complete schedules for the coming weekend: La Liga: http://soccertvblog.com/spain-tv/ Serie A: http://soccertvblog.com/italy-tv/ Ligue-1: http://soccertvblog.com/france-tv/ SA www.soccertvblog.com
Is this where I leave this? This picture names all the clubs that made Champions League last night. But BeIN didn't include Maccabi Tel Aviv. https://t.co/wZG0cftSFG— Raphael Gellar (@Raphael_Gellar) August 26, 2015
I noticed that beIN changed their CONNECT page. It is now a screen with 11 buttons for all the channels they offer. The first time I went in, nothing seemed to come up. the second time it asked me to allow a plugin to play. I said ok, but still did not get anything. Then I noticed that the box asking about plugins had a "show all" button, which revealed a Silverlight plugin, which was set to "Blocked". I changed that to "Allow and Remember" and was able to get the video channels to work. One main problem with the design: You have the 11 buttons right below the screen, marked beIN beIN=n, and bein2 through 10. Unless I am missing something, you will have to go to the TV guide and copy down what is on what channel, since there is no indication of what is on each channel on the screen page. They also are now utilizing HDCP (the copy protection protocol in the HDMI standard), so connection to an older monitor might be a problem.
