He isn't old enough to drink. Someday, he will be... and may God help us all when that time comes.

I think teens are already into that already. So it's probably too late for that, and no, I'm not drunk.

I know. I was just kidding. Rest assured, I'll be hammered when I see Adu's name on the call-up sheet again.

knowing JK, you'll have little forewarning if/when he ever does make the starting XI. or are you hammered at every line-up unveiling?

They fired a coach before he's even had one full season? And this is after Tampa Bay came in second in the spring season. Unless there's something else going on, that doesn't seem like a smart decision.

There was no decision to be made - fate was sealed when Freddy was signed.

They are still in a playoff spot, but they are dropping fast.

Yes, this is awesome and fitting and weird, with a tinge of hilarious.

Yeah, it's bizarre. And he's barely unpacked his bags.

So do the Rowdies now complete Freddy's nightmare by hiring Peter Nowak to replace Rongen?

He looked pretty good under Nowak in the Olympics in 2008 was it?

Rogen' s position must have been already tenuous as signing Freddy is usually a sign of desperation and hoping for a miracle.

If there is a category beyond "a miracle," that's where Freddy falls/fails/ascends these days.

However...(as a *certified personal trainer/certified in sport specific conditioning for soccer)
give me Adu for 5 weeks and I'll put him on a weight loss, aerobic/anaerobic/soccer specific conditioning course guaranteed to ready for him NASL play. I won't charge him an arm and a leg, nor seek to gain entrance to his entourage (which, at this point, may be a party of one and in that case, I'll play forlorn Freddy's friend). He doesn't really need a miracle; he needs motivation of the mouse-move-a-mountain sort. There's the downward spiraling biophysical trail of his past that needs to be addressed in the most basic ways. Signing on to the next team simply hasn't worked for Freddy...his fitness levels continue to sink. Is he past a physical re-calibration? Why professional trainers haven't been able to spark his rebirth, is beyond me...except, of course, for the obvious: Freddy is out of gas and needs a complete re-boot of his system.
Alas, I have no certifications in psychology.
