oh boy! DCC don't take this the wrong way but you have quite the record of making incorrect predictions. While they all seem likely scenarios I am going to stick my neck out and predict none happen as the antiCassandra strikes again
By the way - this past game Lovren didn't look good. Not sure how people are saying that - or are expectations so low with him that an average performance = good?
Also neither team we faced presented really difficult attacking questions. He was acceptable and no more.
Considering I predicted just about every possible outcome to happen, my chances of being right this time around are pretty good.
Early on yeah, but he settled and wasn't much of an issue. If not for having a better option in the stands, if he plays as he has in the past couple of games, he's serviceable enough. Trouble is at 24 he's only really put together 1 good 6 month spell in his entire career, so the likelihood of him losing the plot eventually is pretty good.
From Lovren to Locusts and now Leverkusen, Bayer that is, are showing an interest in Sakho for around 8 mill??? This is from Talk$#!t
I'm not impressed with what I've seen of him. Sure, he has a swarming presence going forward, but he quickly wears out his welcome and he is simply too difficult to mange to be a viable long-term solution for us. I would rather that we focus on a more stable prospect like Mantis, though he's not without faults.
The problem with Locust is his wage demand are huge. He says it's because his family eats a lot and likes to travel frequently. Mantis would be a great signing .... we can only pray.
Locust? God help us if we sign him...he will punish the opposition Mantis is a bit of a show boater no?
I really don't know that many chelsea fans so cannot comment but it does raise the question of which set of fans are hated by most?
Your honour, the defense it it so pleases the court calls one last witness...... will one Joe Allen please rise??????
Jesus, no shit! 2 games. 2 clean sheets. 6 points. But, apparently BR is more concerned with teaching Sakho a lesson than winning games and all the supporters are more concerned with poor Mamadou's feelings instead of supporting the team so it can win more games! Some of these ********s can't win for losing. We'd go undefeated, and it would still be a bitchfest.
Look at the match thread, plenty of us are positive in there about the result. About the 6 points, Benteke and even the defense. However not all of us are super positive because we beat a former league One team 1-0 at Anfield, sorry if that means we have unrealistic expectations about the club and should learn to ignore poor performances because we are winning. I, and others on here, have been positive about draws and defeats when we have played good football, and by the same token there is nothing wrong with being critical of poor performances that we have still won. Sakho is a superior defender to Lovren, some of us are concerned that he is surplus to requirements and two clean sheets against Stoke and Bournemouth are not going to quell the Lovren doubters just yet, hopefully other games will but it's a little premature.
the real question is which Lovren is in the lists, the one from Soton who was reckoned one of the 5 best players in the league a couple of seasons ago, or the Lovren that botched a lot of defensive chances last season. i can remember the incessant harangues of posters who persisted in defending Borini's fighting for a spot at Anfield. let's let Sakho fight for a spot...
