Looks like we finally have all the pieces to go on a big run...so lets go.

Waiting to hear from the MLS committees on Perry's Mike Tyson impression. Anyone else wanna bet he gets punished for that? Zubar status?

It would be a miracle if Perrinelle gets away with that, hopefully Zubar's ready to go because Oimette against Giovinco is terrifying.

Wonder if Veron will start this one after a full week of training. Grella continues to impress while Sam didn't look 100% yesterday, maybe its time he takes a break for a game.

I agree @iced1776. Giovinco will absolutely destroy Oimette. And Sam just doesn't look like himself recently. We have good depth on the wings now so let's see a little rotation.

What a great 7 day stretch.

Closing down Piro, Villa and Lampard (did he even play?) and now getting a crack at Bradly , Jozy and MLS MVP Gio all in about a week at RBA.

    Life is good!

Yesterday was perhaps the first time I have ever saw thoroughly Lloyd owned by a defender.

Angelini is the real deal. What a player. One of the best guys on the field yesterday.

Zubar didn't even make the 18 so can't think he's ready to start yet. Don't mind Perrinelle playing physical because it's important considering we don't have the most physical team in the world but there's also such a thing as dumb physical play. He's gotta clean it up a bit. It's unbelievably important for players at that position to be physical though so you can't take it away from him completely.

Can't think Veron is going to start yet. Probably come off the bench again against Toronto and potentially get the start in the next game.

Here's what I think we see assuming Perinelle gets suspended for a game.

    --------------BWP--------------
    SWP-------Sacha--------Grella
    --------Felipe----Dax
    Taxi Ouimette Miazga Lade

Give Sam a rest and maybe bring him off the bench while also seeing what SWP can do starting for a game.

He played and was subbed off in the 86th minute.

Meant that tonge-in -cheek as he disappeared for much of the match after he missed some earlier chances.

SWP hasn't looked all that exciting so far.

He missed a wide open Grella and fed an obviously offsides BWP on one play. He gave the ball away a couple times. Nice give and go with Grella on the sidelines. Not much else from yesterday that I can remember.

Would be nice to give him 90 so he can settle into a match and not have to force the isue as much.

Agreed... SWP's biggest game was against Philly where he had a huge hand in us winning. The last two games have been pretty bad though. I do love that he's one of the few guys we have willing to take guys on though. We need that, all good teams do.

He was a difference maker in that match, but still only had 2 good soccer moments.

He drew a foul off a dive and legitly earned a PK. Useful but......

I loved his work in the coner then pass to BWP to redirect it in. That was great stuff. He also created some space and unleashed a bullet that went wide right by a couple of feet.

His second 2 matches not much.

Potential is there for sure. Would like to see him get a couple of starts. Get him 60 or 90.

K, Lawrence seems to have a bit of a hamstring issue going on so don't expect him for the Toronto game.

Miller & Zubar will get 45 minutes in USL match, Abang will play 60. Lawrence missed training w/ a hamstring injury. May miss Saturday #RBNY

Definitely not our best lineup coming out for this game. Also may be worth giving Sam a game off. Or at least a start off.

I gotta believe Miller starts at LB instead of Wallace if Taxi is out. Ouimette is a problem..

There's no way he gets away with it.

Well let's pray he does. I do not want to see Wallace and Ouimette defending Gio and Altidore. Imo Wallace looked terrible the last time he was in. I was planning on attending this game, but with that D and their O ill mow the lawn instead.....Although it might be fun seeing giovinco do his thing against those two

Perinelle could get away with it. Mena's face doesn't even move and there's no clear camera angle that says it even landed. Plus it's more of a push-punch than an actual punch anyway.

It is odd that there hasn't been any punishments handed down, but maybe we luck out.

I don't so much mind Wallace matching up with Jozy because Wallace has good size and everything, but Ouimette would struggle big time...

I wouldn't worry about Altidore very much. He's terrible right now. TFC are a non playoff team without Giovinco. There's no reason this can't be a 3-0 or 3-1 win for the home team.

    But Gio IS playing.

Anyway, this should be a good one. I had this one circled a while back. It has 2-2 written all over it.

TFC's defence present opposition a minimum of about 4-5 great scoring chances a game. SKC had a fast fullback mark Giovinco really well last game. NYRB will get lots of chances. They just need speedy fullbacks to watch Giovinco.

Giovinco is without a doubt the best player in the MLS but I think our high press system and our ability to clog the middle of the midfield will do enough to slow him down. I'm not really worried about Jozy as I think he's grossly overrated(and people are realizing this) and he seems way too bulky which gives rise to stamina issues.

Loosing Lawrence will hurt though. Miller can offer something going forward but like other posters mention bad things happen when he plays. Wallace on the other hand is extremely average.

I think this is one of the games where we sit back, give our CB's coverage and get them on the counter.

Hmm. Sounds like a good test for Lade then. Lade is really good in the "pesk" role where he man marks an opposition attacker. For example last month when we hosted New England he was on Agudelo like a fly on sh!t.

Lade, Dax, Felipe are all pesky players who bust their asses to cover alot of grass. I'm just worried about Miller doing something stupid(if he starts).

Grella is more dangerous from that CAM/underneath striker than anyone else we have right now.

I like that he's been drifting centrally more these past few games.

Great game.. Dominated the game and the possession.

We swarmed the Atomic flea and neutralized him(along with the whole squad). Altidore got smacked around by Miazga and Bradley is way too passive for the MLS.

I thought Lade was great again and hes looking like Roberto Carlos with his ability to cross and add to the attack.
Wallace good defensively, great goal but I just don't like how he hoofs up the ball when he gets it..
Sam had a good first half, gave good width and connected well with Lade
Grelladinho for the limited touches he gets makes the most of them
I actually think BWP needs to be more clinical with his finishes. He's getting great service of late
Veron looked great when coming on. His dribbling ability looks good
    Robles gon Robles

We started a bit slow and were caught on the counter a few times but we recovered after that. I never seen us dominate the possession that much for a good while.
