"According to the higher ups at Arsenal?" who said that? What are you talking about? I guess we only have 3 rivals

I just remember Gazidiz saying earlier I think it was after the FA Cup that we want our rivals to be of that caliber and we are working to get there. I don't have any quotes, not going to spend the time to try to find them. Just remember him saying that. Now they aren't our direct rivals now, I don't feel because I don't think we compete on that level yet. But we still don't want to strengthen those teams.

Might get you a better shot at the title, for one.

RM aren't selling him, loan would be the only option for that one anyways.

I know, which is why I'm surprised at the lack of xfer links these days. Journos and agents usually jump on these opportunities to link us all over the place.

Outside of Manchester, it's been a pretty sedate summer: Real not doing anything and Barca being transfer banned are bad for the market.

I think having Messi on your team means you "win" any given transfer window. Unless you sell him.

I understand...wasn't my point though. Since when did journos let facts stop them from linking us to everything in sight. No Babels, or yaya's, or [insert young french player] except benzema and that been weeks old and ended by everyone.

What does everyone think of Grzegorz Krychowiak? £22 million release clause.

The equipment manager must be pissed off. Exchange Szczesny for Krychowiak. At least first names don't go on shirts.

Didn't watch him play much, but he made the La Liga team of the season, fits the profile of what we need, and represents as much value as we are going to get this summer.

Depends on the player - if it's someone he really rates he will. Like Javi Martinez.

I did not see him at Sevilla but saw him when he was with Stade de Reims in Ligue 1. He's a tall (6'1") and powerful guy, he is excellent at interception/ tackling/ breaking up play and IMO he has a much better passing range than Coq.
He would be very good addition.

    I followed him since juniors
Like I said ... Giant engine, passion, power, but his passing is not as good as coq - not at this time
    Better in air no question
I do not believe wenger will splash 22 mil on him

He's not an upgrade over Coq, AT ALL. He's NOT what the team needs, which is an Arteta v2.0 would be a massive waste of money. He is not Gilberto.

Coq is at best an average passer by epl standards. If this guy is a worse passer, then that makes him a below average user of the ball.

    yup

we need someone to set the tempo in our midfield. We dont need another tackler. Even if he is a good passer, we need more than that. Arteta was really good at that, and right now we dont have that player. (its not Santi)

That player probably is not available so I would be good with just playing Santi and Coquelin together even though it will not work against the elite teams.

Schneiderlin is not that type of player either, and not as good as his premiership hype.

Prince I disagree. Coq and caz is better vs good teams than it is vs shit sides as coq plays it simple. Vs west ham he thought he was pirlo
